Germany isn’t France lol
Oisin Molloy That is what I thought!
Oisin Molloy True lol
Yeah but depending on the year France can be Germany
It sounds dumb to point these things out but it really makes you question the accuracy of the rest of the video when they can't even fact check basic things like these
Well, that's one of the big errors. The other big error is that Turkish Airlines plane involved in the 1974 crash was a McDonnell Douglas DC-10 which was a trijet (the third engine would be placed in the tail along the center line). It wasn't some twin-jet plane as shown on the video.
May the people who all died in these disasters Rest In Peace.
pieces maybe lol
putrifiedpuppy disemboweledkitty fuck you
putrifiedpuppy disemboweledkitty I'd like to see how you would joke about something like that if Your loved ones died in an airplane crash. I am all for dark humour but this is over the line
gotta wine n dine me first lol.
buddy, that is the definition of dark humor. that is mild, i didn't say i was molesting the rotted corpses of said victims in front of their relatives, that is over the line.
“#1 September 1st”
Almost had me saying “he’s really finna start with 9/11”
NearRetrograde but that wouldnt make sense because 9/11 wasnt an accident
But he included a terrorist attack
9/11 isnt a plane crash
9 11 is a plane crash
@@planeoldsimp272 It is, but even then the title says accident, and that part of the video in question wasn't.
Keep in mind, those were very old flights.
In the modern days, planes are 3x safer and pilots are not allowed to even touch the airplane unless they speak fluent English with very high grades
You don't need very high grades to become a pilot???? You just need to know how to fly an airplane....
@@eliasziad7864 its still needed in pilot training tho i think and needed atleast longer than 2 years of training
Elias Ziad that’s not true whatsoever
@@eliasziad7864 but you need to be fluent in english to understand the instructions
@Ilay A Ye you don’t know anything about avation no you don’t need to have completely fluent English most international pilots from other countries don’t speak fluent English and you can be a c student and become a pilot …
Amazing how many of these air disasters were due to humans and not failure of the aircraft
Usually nowadays, it's because the ground staff are not doing their job properly.
But if the aircraft fails
Wouldn't it still be due to humans ?
Pros Kurien no not always
@@preetkanwardhaliwal yeah not always
@@dom3510 I mean that failure of an aircraft is also a human failure
They could've built it better
Air disasters because of humans would involve a conscious act or an omission.
My line of thought revolves around language. Think about it.
No, the deadliest airplane accident that ever happened was in December of 2010, in a United Airlines airplane's bathroom. It involved me, two tacos, and an entire roll of toilet paper.
Lol
LMAO
lol Diaherra Attack
Mi how spicy were the Tacos?

[Pam AM and Klm were both 747]
[Amercian Flight 191 was a DC-10]
Most aircraft crashes that claimed lives were older planes.
don't forget about JAL 123's 747
Also, wasn't AA191's wing still intact? I know that the engine was separated and they lost all hydraulics, but I'm pretty sure the wing was intact.

**talks about how Turkish Airlines 981 crashed in France**
**Proceeds to show Germany on fire**
bro they have a low budget chill
At least these were confirmed as accidents while MH370 still remains as a mystery :(
Norrie H.
They are calling it pilot suicide.
Sickening and disturbing.
I am from malaysia
They found it it was pilot suicide
At least I’m pretty sure of it
Norrie H. At least they include MH17
Hisyam Haikal if they survived they would have found them
Anyone else watching this with no socks on?
Masculine Man shut the fuck up plz
Yes but shut up

No ur getting bullied by these beefy kiddies
Just shut up ok
0:57 Maybe James Bond was on that plane.I still feel condolences for everyone who died on that accident.
For everyone that is confused the video is about ACCIDENTS.
So I am a plane then?
lol I was like how did they not include 9/11
*supposed to be about accidents

And 911 is not on the list

LoliKami world is never gonna forget that
@@LoliKami Note that hijacks arent accidents
How do you mistaken a passenger jet for a F-14 Tomcat
The plane on your radar can be anything if you don't do somthing about it you might see bombs falling out of the sky. And plus you can't identify foreign objects at the sky. You can't see it from the ground looking up because its really high up. The only thing you see on your radar is a dot.
James Currie So when that happens they assume that its an air attack.
The ship involved was engaged in a gun battle with Iranian gunboats at the time and the plane was not responding to radio as they were using air rather then ground speed (off by 40knots) which was how they were identified by the ship.
Tom and Jerry logic
The same way you mistake a bird, a plane and superman
Who else knew them all off head?,
I'm watching to much "Mayday alarm in the cockpit"😂
Clashing D same
Clashing D lol me too
Yep
I am watching “Air crash investigation” on National Geographic xD I knew most of these accidents
Glad i'm not the only one lol
Thank you for talking about ‘Korea Flight 007’.
An unfortunate scenario, but your research is SPECTACULAR.
Keep up the good videos mate. 👍🏽
Don't worry the chance of you being involved in a plane crash is about one in a million flights so today it's quite rare
Billion*
Actually 1 in 5 million
I think that stat changes where you live. For example Australia hasn’t had a plane crash since 1960
The thing about the Turkish Airlines flight is that the same type of incident happened to an American Airlines flight a few years earlier. The AA flight's rear cargo door flew off due to design flaws, where the hook wasn't attached properly, but the pilots won't know since it still tells them that it's properly locked. The only difference was that the AA flight safely landed with little aircraft control and had to use the engines to control the aircraft the most, while the Turkish Airlines flight lost all control, and they couldn't regain it at all.
The FAA told McDonell Douglas to fix it, but they never listened, until the TA incident happened.
Sorry about sounding like a nerdy dude lol
You made a slight mistake on the Turkish Airlines map....it shows the plane crashing over Germany instead of France.
James Cogswell yea that wasnt a very accurate one, turkish air was ascending from its takeoff from orly paris, when its cargo door came off and it crashed in france.
Harold Ramus is back yay!
Great post as usual Infographics ....
I both love these videos and cringe while imagining someone so cutely animating gruesome deaths 😭
For number 7 you said over France but labelled Germany
Alex Barnes huh, I didn't even notice
20 people work on these videos, it was probably miscommunication between people.
I'm about to go on 8 hour flight,
AND this is my first time on a plane. Why am I watching this?!!
. OMG AZAR IS MY NAME!!!!!!!
Are you dead?
@@azarteymurbayov2391 no guam
@@azarteymurbayov2391if they passout before impact than yes but many drawned in Aeroperu accident, this is not a good way to die. Airfrance 447 also drawned maybe i dont know but the impact wouldve killed most people due to trauma. It depends
Mate driving is way more dangerous than flying. More idiots on the roads than in the air.
Flying is still the fastest way to travel, at 0.07 deaths per billion miles travelled by plane. Take cars for a comparison, 7.28 deaths per billion mile. Bus at 0.11, subway(metro) at 0.24, train at 0.43, ferry at 3.17 AND MOTORCYCLES(MOTORBIKES) AT 212.57!
David Liu thats why i ride
David Liu that’s not true
Then tell me what's true.
Because so much people fly thats why death count is so low but if a plane crashes there are hundreds of people dying instantly. I ve never seen a car accident were 200 people died at once. If then it depends how often in which time those crashes happens. What is meaned by safest way? When i got murdered at a metro that does not count as accident or crash. I only want a statistic where people die from crashes or accidents in these travel categories. Motorcycles would be the hightest risk thats for sure. Question is if 1 Person would choose plane, train, metro, in which of them would be the highest chance of dying because of crash or accident?
Im surprised that this isnt on r/iamverysmart
Thanks for the arrow in the thumbnail telling me where the accident was
this fire effects :P
Bought off :p
What's the deadliest airplane attack? September 11? Pearl Harbor? Hiroshima/Nagasaki?
Candi Soda those are not the same idiot
Agreed but the title says accidents
Candi Soda Hiroshima and Nagasaki are probably the worst, maybe not deadliest but the least fun of all. If people didn't die from the blast they'd slowly die by cancer or have to live with the terrible trauma if they didn't die by cancer or the explosion.
The worst of all time is the Tokyo Fire Bombing and the Hiroshima atomic bomb. These are both estimated to have killed more than 100000 people however, Hiroshima probably had higher total casualties as a result of residual damage caused from radioactive side effects.
Accidents don't include planned attacks lol it's not an accident if it's intentional.
Imagine coming to this video coming from the recent Malaysia flight video and hear two completely different stories. We’ve learned so much about that flight in the last few years.
I was about to sleep but i couldnt resist to watch this video! Anyways awesome video!
):
Awesome video!! :D
I hate when planes "refuse to be controlled!"
“Not today, human!”
I like this series. Please make more top ten type videos.
Was on an really scary flight a while back coming into London from Sardinia. We were seconds from landing, I was looking out the window at the tarmac waiting for the familiar comforting thud that signifies landing when suddenly the pilot intiated an emergency go around, it felt like the control stick was pulled all the way back as the aircraft was put into a very steep climb. The engines screamed as full thirst was engaged and I was pushed into the back of my dear unable to move for what felt like ages. Thinking j was gonna die I clung into the hands of the women sitting next to me and prepared.
After a while the pilot came in the tannoy and said that there was something on the runway as we were coming in. I love flying but that was so scary!
Goring-around is fine, nothing to be scared about.
What about the monstrosity of 9-11? Oh wait no, that wasn’t an accident
(And to call it a monstrosity would be an insult to monstrosities)
9/11?
Aaron Burr the Younger It wasn't an accident though.
natey27 oh yeah...
natey27 But they did list other terroist plane bombings.
Zarsla True but maybe because it's very well know though.
This video is about accidents
The good thing about the Tenerife accident is that because of that accident the standardization of the pilot vocabulary, evading thousands of deaths
motion graphics with kurzgesagt!?!! i luv that channel!
Info graphics start with number 10 then go to 1
Exactly!
To those saying “9/11”, that wasn’t an accident. The title didn’t say “most fatal plane crashes.”
cmon. muricans dont understand meaning of words in their own language
Reinis Aizsilnieks Americans* second of all, what did I miss? Please enlighten me.
ProGamerFTW because the people who made the list have a bad understanding of what accident means. 9/11 wasn’t an accident, neither was #6. Neither should be on the list
Actually...
The full name of 9/11 is "The 9/11 terrorist attacks"
Note that 'attacks' is plural, so it isn't a singular event
The Saudi one was just labeled 'Accident' and not 'Accidents'
Annocule wtf does that have to do with anything?
The fact that there are 10 and possibly even more than that is absoultely devestating
So very sad, whenever such occurrences transpire. I cannot even begin to imagine, the sheer fear/terror/sadness within all passengers minds & hearts & many most probably knowing, that they'd soon depart from this earthly plane. As awful as this sounds & as hard as it is for me to say this, i can only hope/pray, that they all died quickly & didn't suffer too much. The pain left behind for all living loved ones to hear about & to endure ongoingly, i will never know. May all deceased passengers RIP eternally & may their loved ones, find comfort in the Lord & in their family.
911
Oisin Molloy The video says Plane accidents and I am pretty sure 9/11 wasn't a accident
Im sure the other bomb ”accidents” in this video also was accidents?
Jay Mohammed Bush “accidentally” did 9/11
That was more an airplane intentional
9/11 was a inside job
Flying is only safer because of its precautions;people can drive cars drunk and people who don't know how to drive can hijack a car and drive it but this doesn't happen with airplanes
Rip to all those poor people
btw...
*THIS IS JUST LIFE!*
just great! watching this while waiting for my flight in 2hours
6:38 **AHEM** THAT'S NOT A 747!!
You forgot the time when a saudia L-1011 was caught on fire wile the plane was getting to 16000ft, death toll was: 301
Those pilots were so dumb, they were singing while the whole cabin was on fire. One of the most avoidable crashes, apart from that aeroflot one and Air France 447.
0:33 simply? a plane dropping from the sky would have to come from huge failure such as all engines going out and for some reason the pilots didn't try to land safely, or a mid flight explosion which would have been heard before it happened, or something else that isn't simple.
Do you feel the anxiety when you're thinking of fliying with an airplane? Or are you relaxed and comfortable?
What are your usual thoughts when you're on an airplane?
idk
I liked to read Watership Down... until I watched LOST. 😆
You pronounce 777 as triple seven, not seven seven seven.
you can pronounce it as either/or
Anything is ok to use,ur wish what you feel is easier
Anyways I prefer triple seven so I’m with u
It's triple seven not seven seven seven
And 747 is "two sevens with a four in the middle." HAHAHA 😁
0:57 James Bond was on board... that’s why
2 years ago I was flying from Japan to Denmark, and as the plane was descending to land the pilot had too go back up in the air really fast to avoid crashing into another plane. It was really scary!
GEEZ
Never been on a plane yet.
Now Imma nervous again.
Thanks.
Why am i watching this when im taking a flight to new york tomorrow
They just had a plane crash in Cuba.
SHIT my moms going to cuba in a month
Lord And Saviour don’t fret, plane crashes are very rare
What was the damage?
coolguy J over 105 killed.
not in 2018... 5 crash now
It's nice to see this as I'm preparing to take off from LAX
Thanks for including the air Africa plane crash
Luckily most of these crashes have led to improvements on safety in the aviation industry. We'll be safer than ever. Except for missiles, war criminals will never be stopped unfortunately.
Marieke Vee well, this year 4 major crashes occured
Marieke Vee If your talking missiles, theres a reason why the commercial planes are shot down. A lot of the missile are in countries that is in with military tension with another country. So they always worry the aircraft on thier radar might be a bomber delivering an air attack
My pet gecko that rode paper plane and landed successfully: PILOT
First time I flew was July 2011, and the pilot was just 19 years old, and we hit a seagull at takeoff leaving Kellys Island. The pilot was like "it's okay it's okay" and yea I'm still here thank GOD!!
One of my students and his entire family died on MH17 when it was shot down over Ukraine. They were from Malaysia and lived here in Atyrau, Kazakhstan. Senseless loss of life.

If we were to include all airplane disasters the list would be:
10: Iran Air Flight 655
9: Malaysia Airlines Flight 17
8: Saudia Flight 163
7: Air India Flight 182
6: Turkish Airlines Flight 981
5: Saudia Flight 763 and Kazakhstan Airlines Flight 1907

Weird you only mentioned children with Iranian plane shot by us
I know right? And when the other countries shot down the planes he called them “accidents“ but when the Americans did it, it was an “international crime” 🙄
@@Goddessvenom and he didn’t mention 9/11, even though some of the “accidents” on this list were terrorist attacks, pretty inconsistent

*I SAWED THIS BOAT IN HALF*
there ya go
I listened to the cvr from Japan airlines flight. Those pilots are pure badass. How long they kept it in the air with a major part of the plane missing

Anyone else watching this and going on holiday soon ?
3:40: the plane who caused the most deaths for non passengers? 9/11: am i a joke to you?
@Daniel Treadwell but why does he have one terrorist attack on the list then?
Toto - Africa
Im about to sink into the sea of comments
make a video on top railway accidents
The brutal thing about the Tenerife one is that it was an accident between two 747´s at full load.
Why is this video trying to make people think that flying is dangerous? These are RARE accidents, and most of them happened a long time ago.
So Russia/Korean Air incident is "understandable" but the Iran Air flight 655 incident is just glossed over? An Iraqi jet aircraft fired missiles at the American ship USS Stark in 1987. So you ignore the fact that an aircraft heading toward one of their ships a year later (during a war) might make some US Navy officers on edge?
Thank you!!
The perfect way for me to warm up for a long plane ride
It would be interesting to see a video about Asiana Airlines Flight 214.
I'm pretty sure that AA 191 did not lose it's wing when the engine came off. Everything else is true.
Yea it didn't take out the trailer park either, came close, but didn't hit it. It actually took out a hangar, & the 2 deaths on ground were the 2 hangar employees. & u are right, it deft didn't take part of the wing, the engines are mounted in a way so that if they do happen to come off they go up & over the wing as to not damage it, which is what had happened. But the thing that gets me is that those planes are made to remain fly-able & controllable minus 1 engine. Not sure why that wasn't the case here
@@robertbennett6801 its because the stall warning wasn’t going off so pretty much the pilots were so confused that they stalled the planes themselves without knowing. Check out Air Crash Investigations, it tells the whole story
I knew another plane crash:
2001
Vladivostok to Irkutsk
Killing all passengers

Nice video but Air India flight 182 was a stopover- it had a scheduled stop at London Heathrow
you got me that thumbnail looked real for a sec.
Not everyone on the KLM died. A woman refused to board the plane so not everyone died on the KLM.
Even at crash some survived who were seated at rear
... So she wasn't on the plane
Ergo everyone on the plane died

When disaster hits in the sky the skilled pilots can often do tricks to try to save as many as possible. Seeing that even in some of the deadliest accidents there are survivors tell how safe flying actually is
Nice
