Happy Father's Day to my favorite Disney dads! Love watching your beautiful family enjoy the most magical place on earth. Youre making the most special memories for your little man. 😄Soak it in! 💞
Was lucky enough to be there for Mother's Day with my daughters, which was our first time to at the CG, and it was amazing! We dream about those wontons! We did come back for the fireworks as well. A wonderful experience, and we'll be back! Thank you for sharing, we love your videos!! 😊
Hey Mike, it looked as if your wontons did not come with the usual amount of sauce. I would have asked for more, especially since you were really looking forward to them. We are all disappointed about the prix fixe menu but our regular server there pointed out how often costumers would order the least expensive items on the menu and then remain at the table for a long, long time. So we support the servers, and we have sometimes added an additional item to share so that we do not miss out on our favorites. Looks like you did have a great meal.
Nice! I’m glad you tried the chocolate dessert Mike ! That is definitely my favorite. I am going to have to try Steve’s the next time I go there. I am a big peanut butter fan as well.
So glad you got to have a great meal at California Grill. It's one of the best spots at wdw. There's nothing in world that can compare, from the views to the foods it's literally the best the world has to offer. However!! I completely agree! I miss the old menu. I need to stop up top there soon to be disappointed! J/k😂
I am obsessed with the goat cheese polenta. One of my kids got it the last time I was there, and I told the waiter I loved it, so they brought me a whole bowl lol.
I agree on the reason for the pre fixe menu, I think additionally a lot people knowing you could come back would come to CA grill order something small/cheap just to get a receipt. Like you said, unfortunate especially since pre fixe menus aren’t my favorite.
Hey Dads, dining question...I would be willing to bet Victoria and Albert & Bull and Bear are among your top recommendations. Would this be in the top 3 as well or somewhere else?
@@TheMagicDads My only regret is we had to basically rush through dessert to get a bus back to our cabin at Fort Wilderness and we were dangerously close to transportation shutting down. I wish I could have savored the Citrus Crème Brûlée. But remembering back, it was a time crunch that whole evening with everything and the only miscalculation I had on timing things out. Will do better next time.
Not a Prix fixe dinner person at all! We never have desserts and most times share an appetizer. Plus the selection at CG is very limited. $90 each plus cost of a bottle of nice wine make this NOPE! There is a reason there seems to always available resi at CG.
When you are on vacation you don’t have to remember words lol! And the more fun you are having 🍸🥃🍷🍹🧉 the less words you remember, I think you were looking for: Observation Deck
It’s so nice to see Caleb join in on the ENJOY sign off. You’re such a nice family!
Awww what a beautiful Fathers Day! Thank you for the video! Keep them coming please! 🥰
Steve your desert looked amazing
Happy Father's Day
Happy belated Father's Day to you two!😊❤️
The theories about the pricing were interesting and probably accurate.👍
I agree with Mike's take. I do hope they bring back brunch on Sundays
How’s the scrapbook coming along?? As always, great video!

Mike you had the perfect meal! Thank you both for sharing your family vacation time! And Caleb, you are getting bigger every video 😊
I saw you guys at the Grand Floridian Wednesday! I was too shy to say hello - but love your channel and your family! Hope you had a great vacation ❤️
Awww you should’ve said hi!!! No worries, I’m the same way, very shy lol. Hope you had a great time in Disney!!!

yumm!!!! First time we ate there was on our Honeymoon May 1997!💜💚I remember the pork tenderloin entree was 17.00😂😂

Q- if you ate at the bar could you just get the pizza. Prefixe is expensive for a a single traveler
It’s expensive even for a couple
I believe you can, if you sit at the bar. The whole menu is available a la carte

Now I'm trying to remember what it's called. Bruschetta?
California Grill was the best meal my partner and I had on our first trip together back in May. Will become a regular haunt for us on future trips.
It’s such a great place!

Mike you should do a vlog trying to do a copy of the Braised Beef Short Rib Wonton Recipe 🙂
Yum! We went a few days ago and the wontons were way less spicy for me as well. I wonder if they lessened the amount of chili in them.

That’s it!! Observation deck!! Haha.
Friend is high up there
It’s a real easy thing to figure out
They were sick of cheap guests spending noooooo money and waiting for fireworks
