The numbers talked about all the time is just what Spotify pays for the master. If u have publishing u get paid for ur writer/composition share and a mechanical for the master. Copyright just protects your IP it doesn’t make u more money. If u own ur masters and publishing u get paid more for one music stream than u do for one RUclips video ad by a lot. Also u can’t get ur CPM Shafted by RUclips’s algorithm when it comes to publishing money since it’s regulated which is nice. Rest of the video was on point tho idk how u do those graphics but that shits fire.
Ya I couldn't find what the pay/stream numbers actually referred to so I guessed. Flowcharts are from illustrator
I think I cut it out but RUclips pays so little also because all of the revenue are from free ad-supported users, who generate almost no revenue
