Last year was my first time and your right early is a must! I shot with a 24-70 and it was great....im back next month
glad you enjoyed it man, are you gonna be doing fashion week this year ?
@DaneVisuals Yes I am! It means a lot to be at this point in my life. A kid from the South Bronx doing something like this!
Very useful
Thanks a lot
Thanks for the tips
Very informative
But the question is if the shutter speed is to high then the flash is going to divide the picture, what must I do
so for the flashes that i use they have high speed sync so they work at high shutter speeds but alot of shows dont allow flash as well because they affect their lighting so its a case by case thing really
Great video but how do you get access to the fashion shows as a photographer/Videographer though? do you apply for a pass, buy a pass or just buy a ticket?
In my case, i had met a designer at a party but honestly most designers are pretty open to collaboration, go on the instagram or website for the show that you'd like to work at, look which designers will be there, shoot them a dm, id offer to shoot for free so that way i can get my foot in the door and just reach to as many as possible, personally i wouldn't buy a ticket because if im gonna be using my camera ill be offering my skills anyway
@@DaneVisuals thanks for the tip. Much appreciated bro
Very informative. Thanks! How do you deal with a runway that has two or three different color temperatures or shades? Sometimes, some portions of the runway are not well lit.
thank you man and honestly i hate mixed lighting set ups so bad but what i do to work around it, i just try to find the white balance that best matches my skin tones and i ignore everything else, its not always gonna be ideal but as long as my model looks normal im good
I think that's one of those judgment call times because it's really nothing you can do in this type of setting.
What size lens would you recommend?
Hey bro if your talking about a lens for shooting fashion or run way i would suggest a a zoom lens. Preferably a 70-200 because that way you can get some really close shots no matter how far away you are placed. Does that answer your question?
@@DaneVisuals thank you.
It depends on the runway. For me, my go to lenses are, Tamron 35-150 2-2.8, Nikon 24-70S 2.8, Nikon 70-700.2.8S.
@jeromehutchinson1961 That 24-70 did justice this past February and it did wonders....
