"I've always been someone who grapples with doubt and uncertainty," Llewellyn admitted. "And I think that's reflected in my songwriting, even in the songs I've written for Rend Collective."
But on "Honest," Llewellyn says he's decided to confront his doubts head-on. "I'm not trying to pretend that I have all the answers," he explained. "I'm just trying to be honest about my own struggles and my own faith journey."
The result is an album that is both personal and deeply relatable. "I think a lot of people can identify with feeling lost or unsure at times," Llewellyn said. "And I hope that this album can be a source of comfort and encouragement for those people."
In addition to its honest lyrics, "Honest" is also a musically diverse album. "We've always been a band that's experimented with different sounds," Llewellyn said. "And this album is no exception. We've got everything from upbeat anthems to introspective ballads on this one."
Llewellyn says he's proud of the album and hopes that it will connect with listeners on a personal level. "I just want people to be able to relate to the songs on this album," he said. "And I hope that they'll find it to be a source of hope and inspiration."
