⠀I am so happy that I finally got another video about Newt and Thomas done! I know that most of my subscribers cames from my Newt Tribute video I did last Spring, so I thought you might like it. Newt was honestly my favorite character and his death was the saddest thing... Between him and Teresa, that book what heartbreaking. I would like to dedicate this video to sheo productions because it's her birthday! Also, thanks for 200 subs! It means the world to me.

I cried over and over after reading this part in the book! Newt was the best person in the series and he was scared that he would hurt Thomas, Minho, or anyone else if he stayed with them. R.I.P Newt...... no words can explain this sad part! 😭

shauna copeland Well WICKED just used Newt, so to speak, he was just another variable, so they knew he was not immune and everything. He served practically only as a means to an end.
Actually quite similar to Chuck. His death was also planned and was part of a variable.
Sadest moment of maze runner series! i dont know if i want to watch the death cure movie when it comes out! I have read all 3 books and im so sad that Newt dies he is my favorite person in the whole book and movie series! :( (like this comment if u agree!)

newt was such a caring character... he always thought of others before himself even when he was turning crazy. he didn't want his friends to see him like he was as he knew it would hurt them. the book is amazing but so sad... can't wait to see how they do it in the film even tho I'm probably gonna need to take a box of tissues to the cinema!! Newt didn't deserve to die because he was too kind and thoughtful. #ripnewt ! X

shallowshadow as much as I adore newt I think his death is very important to the story and to Thomas' realisation that this isn't going away his friends are dying and it makes him want to do something if that makes any sense 😂
whatever I honestly feel as though the reason James Dashner had Newt die was, not only, for character development but also because it helped him realize that a lot of his friends might just die. He has no say in that fact.
