5th was in fact Corey Morris, but I showed a picture of Emmanuel Hunter who placed 6th. My apologies!
Well deserved win for wesley and hadi blew everyone out of the water
Hadi humiliated Samson with his six pack, it wasn't even close. Hadi's waist was tight, he was able to hit vacuums, he had extraordinary stomach control, and whenever he crunched his abs or obliques or serratus, he slammed the door on Samson. Terrick El Guindy said Hadi was absolutely relentless in showing off his abs any chance he got next to Samson - hitting them non-stop, almost goading the judges saying see this is what I've got, does the other guy have anything close. Terrick said it might have been his strategy going in and it worked, Hadi won with a perfect score of 10. Absolute utter domination of the field.
Yeah Hadi has the best abs in the world imo and Samson is starting to form a gut, good strategy for Hadi.
@@projectbodybuilding It shows how judging has changed, in the mid-2010s, the bubble gut wasn't penalized as much and Phil Heath still managed to win with a bubble gut. Samson wouldn't have been judged harshly by those standards. But today, it seems like the judging is valuing aesthetics once again. For a few years, you kinda got guts in Open and vacuums in Classic, but if you wanted to see world class abs, you had to watch Men's Physique. Hadi is single-handedly changing that. He is bringing back abs in the Open division and challenging other guys to keep up with him.
His back is the leanest I've ever seen him, far less fat and watery than usual. Chest was striated even during the post-win interview without even flexing...he was absolutely peeled.
In order for Samson to beat Hadi, he needs to play the conditioning game, and looking at his trainer's track record of this show (Horse MD, James, Samson), I think he needs a new coach going forward as none of them came in shape. Samson has all the mass needed to win, but he really needs to lose some excess weight first. I think a 280 lbs Samson would fare much better then what we saw.
I am from Brasil, Ramon honestly had 2 months on vacacion, decided to compeet like 6 weeks before the show. Honestly he learned the hard way that he cant only rely on genética. He had to drop his weight fast and his body paid a price. I think he will be back stronger for Olympia
I learned that while I was making this video, he definitely thought he could coast, but Wesley came into his best ever. It was still close, a point Decision, Ramon could still beat him at the Olympia.
That’s true. Wesley deserved and I believe Ramon is learning something on that. Great vídeos, I will follow!

I was expecting Breon to get robbed again going into this AC, yet I was still shocked that he got robbed.
Great competitive lineups in all 3 divisions. Looking forward to seeing more of the entire top 4 in open
I expected it too but then I saw Urs and no one had him above breon, so I assumed breon would finally be back in a top 3, but nope lol

Hadi just brought it this arnold and manage to win pretty comfortably. I can't wait for his rematch with samson in the arnold uk.
I do think that the time in between Ohio and UK benefits Samson, IF he decides to actually push his conditioning

@@projectbodybuilding I thought Antoine did enough. He did come in more balanced top to bottom and had a tighter midsection than james
@daveyadict_ I actually didn't like his midsections because of the jagged abs, but it's objectively better than James' because he was shallow abs and looked a little watery in the stomach. Which is probably just a combo of a slightly full stomach and his shit abs, but still it looked washed out.
