all cars no matter in what country they're made in need parts , unless you trust there are some who can really make unfixable cars and unsinkable ships , like it happened 100 yrs ago and it still happens today upon your opinion ....
We saw this on the Sunday. It was breath taking. A superb display of incredibly skilled piloting and team work by the aircrew. I really believe they should have taken the trophy! Fast jets are designed from the ground up to do this and much more. This fabulous aircraft is designed primarily to transport stuff where it is needed, but not to fly aerobatics. Despite being incredibly strong and agile, the skill displayed by this crew was amazing and so entertaining. Thanks for posting this great coverage of the display, I will watch it many times I am sure.

If I could find the multi millions of cash I have stashed somewhere I'd join you ha. Agree about the stunning display, the piloting skills and serious consideration for the best display. Maybe it needs to sound like a fast jet and have some afterburners!

I was in the FRIAT enclosure watching this display and it was amazing. They got my vote for the ‘As the crow flies’ trophy for best display. The fast jets were brilliant but this was next step brilliant.

Mommy C-130J Hercules is proud of her son C-27J Baby Herc, and Father C-130H Hercules, who came from a war as well.
In Italy green light means avanti, avanti. Yellow light is okay, avanti. And red light is just a suggestion.
In cargo aircraft wings straight and level, also just a suggestion.
I love see the mini Hercules do aerobatics, it's quite a sight to see.

A sort of Landing (under) Attack, to avoid/reduce danger enemy fire of a classic approach.
Many years ago, I saw a G222 (the ancestor of this one, same cell but different engines and avionics) landing in the same way, stopping in very few space and then two team of Italian special forces exiting from the back with two armed jeep. Excellent!

Never seen an aileron roll on this kinda transport aircraft before. Even C-130 Hercs only do a wing over which looks like a complete roll but it is not

WOW.... great piloting and aircraft, The C-27 is made in Italy but uses the C130 engines, so that extra power makes all the difference!... I think the US Coast guard uses this as well...
@Legio XXI Rapax maybe from a parts supply basis it was better for the airforce and army to use the same plane.... the C-27 is a bit smaller, probably better for the coast guard... But i don't doubt the politics you pointed out.

@Legio XXI Rapax sure but don't forget, a lot of Americans earn a living in that industry, including military personal...and last time i checked, the world aint no bed of roses, there are some very very bad actors out there... so Thank God for the USA... the NEW ROME.
@Legio XXI Rapax Marines are a land force with their own aviation, they could use Spartans for them. His tactical role would fit well with that of the Marines.
@Legio XXI Rapax I realize. Checking on Wikipedia, of the 21 C27Js delivered to the US, leaving out the 14 at the Coast Guard, the other 7 went to a land (?) force, the United States Army Special Operations Aviation Command (USASOAC)... or is this a branch of the USAF?

@@walterF205 Like I clearly mentioned, ITALY and Brazil make some beautiful, capable aircraft. The C27 from the Leonardo manufacturing company did a great job. You can see similar sleek, advanced aircraft coming out of Brazil also.

My Father remembers seeing (Farnborough or RIAT) display where they did this and when he landed 8 guys and a Landrover came out of the back !! Anyone confirm ?
In the old days they would carry out the same display with the G222 from which the C27 Spartan takes its incredible design and performances. In Pisa, home of the Folgore Division, they would perform the Tactical Assault with Paratroopers on board equipped with the Fiat AR76 jeep simulating the rescue of hostages in hostile territory....now THAT was a brilliant display!!!!
