I'm in my 3rd year of using a Muji planner and it works really well for me. I use it to plan everything: work, personal, exercise and to keep track of "events". Last year I started a daily journal with a Muji basic a5 notebook (blank pages and craft cover) and I'm really loving it. I also want to start reusing my travellers cover but I'm still not sure for what purpose 😅
Thanks for sharing as always, Abbey! I’m slowly but surely setting up some random brand A5 dotted journal for a journal/memory-keeping setup. My word of the year “move” like move my body or just move forward.
Thank you for showing g us what you are using for 2025. It is always fun to see what other people have in their line-up. Last year was the first year I used the A5 Hobonichi and I loved it! Not one day is missing a journal entry! I am excited about filling one up for 2025. I LOVE to journal and have multiple journals. Like you I just love to write. Thank you for such a great video. I am looking forward to all your travels in 2025. Stay safe and stay warm!❤
Lifting you up in prayer Abbey! Praying the next 3 months bring peace of heart and mind, and easy resolution that you are hoping for. ...and regarding stationery, you are making me want to get a Plotter so badly!
Thank you for this Abbey! I really want to try the Hobonichi Techo, but I already have the Muji planner. I hope the best for your immigration and work!
Thank you for sharing this video! Your planners and journals are always so inspiring. 🥹 Wishing you lots of luck (and balance) in 2025 - especially with life admin things!
Really enjoyed this video, and I especially resonated with what you said about outgrowing the more "popular" planners 😅. So, this year, instead of the techo, I went ahead and got a Midori 1d1p diary in A5. A lot of people tend to dislike (for lack of a better word) the A5 size because they find it too daunting, but I realise now that I am a yapper/rambler, and I could go on for pages! I also saw many people complaining that the book's too thick and makes for an uncomfortable writing experience, but it hasn't been a problem for me so far. Good luck with the immigration stuff! I used to live abroad myself and know EXACTLY how taxing renewing the visas can be! Happy journaling!
I love watching your videos, they inspire me to keep jornaling even if it's one day per week ✨ i wish you the best luck with all the bureaucracy stuff and hope you have a lovely year!💖
I was a Hobonichi Techo Weeks lover...until I decided on a plotter bible size in Horse Hair black. It's so good! The small ring size keeps out the fluff, making it perfect for work/personal. I still ended up getting a Weeks as a health tracker, but I think I'm a ringbound girl for life now 😊
It's my second year of using the Traveler's Notebook weekly vertical refills for logging/highlights/small wins, which makes everyday journaling easier (since I got a complementary digital journal to everyday dump haha). If there's a need for expansion/overflow of my thoughts & I want to write it by hand, that's when I get my Traveler's Notebook passport insert (ie. stream of consciousness stuff). Using my yearly index as a "the last time I did [something]" tracker, ie. my last haircut, the last time I replenished my skincare. Manifesting the next quarter to be kind to you as you sort out life admin 😌
Abbey, very much looking forward to following your year ahead. Love that you do you. I just deconstructed a sterling ink planner and put it in a 20mm ringed Filofax. That’s my planner for the year. I like that we can all do different things but still find inspiration from each other. Good luck with your upcoming admin stuff and I hope you find the balance you’re looking for.
Happy 2025 Abbey!! Great set-up. 🤩 My OLW (One Little Word) is "clear". I am very excited for all the space it will afford me - making way for more goodness. I am sticking with my A5 Hobonichi Avec & possibly an A6 Hobonichi Hon. In addition, I am still working out the TRC notebook for actual trips.
Loved the video!! I also decided to drop media journaling this year ( a very recent decision)! Excited for your upcoming travels and hope the next few months can be smooth for you!
Hi Abbey, Great techo kaigi 🧡 it is always inspiring to see how you use your planners and journals. This year I’m using an analogue keeper daily dairy for personal journaling, my 5-year for memory keeping and a ring planner for planning. Wish you all the best for the coming months. Looking forward to your Skillshare class.
Hi Abbey, thank you for your lovely video! I started this year with three journals/planners. The first is a Leuchtturm that I didn’t finish last year, where I jot down reflections and monthly summaries. Then, I got a Pascualina planner (it’s quite popular in Latin America; I received my first Pascualina planner when I was 10, so it holds a special place in my heart). This one will be more like a daily diary. It’s A5-sized, and the pages vary between one, two, or three days per page. Finally, I have a “Grand Voyageur” from the brand Paper Republic, which I absolutely love. Inside, I have a one-page weekly planner with a notes page, plus a small grid notebook and a watercolor notebook to use as a travel journal. I was so happy to watch your video. I usually struggle to understand everything, but today the automatic translation into French worked really well. I also wanted to share that I have my Moon in Libra and my Ascendant in Pisces too! However, my Sun is in Aries, but I totally connected when you talked about balance. Lastly, this year I finally dared to take the plunge and started creating content about journaling as well. Wish me luck ☺️ I’m just getting started, and I have so much to learn and improve, but I’m filled with dreams. My word for the year is "bloom" and I'm only using a Hobonichi Cousin that I won in a giveaway (It's so big though that I already know I'll go A6 next year, but I'm enjoying it!) and I'm using my first ever TN as a reading journal, tarot journal, and junk journal for memory keeping!
@@AbbeySy It's so fun to play around! I love sticking in little photos and quotes! 100% going to check out your skillshare class for some more tips! Can't wait!

What's your opinion of the Midori sweater mustard/chartreuse cover? I've been thinking of buying but don't know if it's worth the price.
It's just okay! Nothing extraordinary, I do like how cute it is so I might be a little biased lol (it's very fit for winter)
Hi Abbey, how did you get the scribe patch?
I bought it at a thrift shop in Chicago by chance!
Hi plotter friend!
Hey hey!
PLOTTER? Looks really like the old Filofax that I had back in the 1980s😂 It held my life back then - before mobile phones of course…
With smaller rings!
