You should leave them be. They aren't going to adjust if they have a human standing there recording them! They probably are waiting to be picked up, and taken home to a dry place. They need to except this is there new home, and learn to count on the monkeys in the troop for their comfort not humans.

The little one would be just fine without all that extra weight on her, but KT is going to get the little one hurt too. Separate them and take the towel away. At least give the little one a chance.
