Ismael R Where are you?! Is it Venezuela?! I started making art when my mother got sick, while I took care of her here at home I began to paint etc... now she’s gone I find it hard to get in the mood sometimes though I try really hard to. 😔😢

I have been used to water colours ,inks and have always struggled with acrylics- but now feel as though you have shown me a way to blend all three.Even though I don't speak German, I feel an affinity with how you work. Hallo liebe Gerda, ich finde das so mutig von dir, dass du uns an dein Suchen nach der idealen Komposition teilnehmen lässt. Als Anfänger, der ich bin, bin ich ein ewig Suchender! An deinem Beispiel wird mir nochmals klar, dass eine suchende und ausprobierende Haltung der einzig richtige Weg ist, ein wirklich interessantes Bild zu malen - auch wenn ich die "graue" Farbe hier noch nicht so richtig für mich entdeckt habe, die Komposition als solches gefällt mir ausnehmend gut. Danke auch für den Tipp mit dem dünnen Brett zum Darunterschieben. Das ist eine viel bessere Methode als mehr oder weniger passende Bücher, die doch immer wieder Kanten auf dem Bild produzieren. I don't quite understand what was the point of doing all those several background layers of the light creamy color if you went over it in dark. Can you explain?
Hallo und Glückwunsch auch zu diesem gelungenen Werk. Heute möchte ich aus der "stillen Zuschauerrolle " heraustreten und Ihnen sagen, dass ich Sie sehr bewundere. Dazu muss ich erklären...ich habe mit dem Malen (bisher ausschließlich Acryl) erst vor drei Jahren begonnen. Mein erstes Bild ist August 2014 entstanden. Da war ich 72 Jahre alt. Ich lerne ständig dazu und lasse mich inspirieren. Gerade ist eine Ausstellung mit 33 Bildern von mir im Rathaus meines Wohnortes zu Ende gegangen, durch die ich viel positives Feedback erhielt. Das also zu mir. Da ich Autodidakt bin war ich froh, dass ich Sie und ihre Kanäle für mich entdeckt habe. Ihre Werke finde ich genial!!! Danke dafür. Doch meine Frage: ist es möglich, einen Workshop bei Ihnen zu absolvieren? Das wäre mein grösster Wunsch. Entschuldigung....bisschen lang geworden. Hoffentlich finden Sie Zeit mir zu antworten. LG !

The underlying layers makes it easyer to scratch into the dark layer to see the brighter colors below
