Alejandro Coello is a Spanish percussionist, composer and percussion solo teacher at the Franz Liszt University of Music, Weimar. He performs, teaches masterclasses and serves as jury in competitions in Mexico, Spain, Germany, Bulgaria, China and other countries. He has collaborated on four CDs, of which the latest, “One minute later”, a jazz album by Diego Barber featuring Eric Harland and Ben Williams, is to be released on May 19.

One of the nicest performances displaying the “acoustic” possibilities of the vibraphone. So nice to really hear the intimate sound that mostly us players here.

Read the sheet music, all those notes are as written and he's doing just that.

Why does it sound so off beat? Like horribly off beat at the beginning at least.. and loses the beat throughout..
