I was one of those kids up there... my father was in an old school gospel quartet group. I was at the church before everyone and after setting up and breaking down, rehearsals etc... bitter sweet... some amazing things go on in the making and performing of gospel music.
I can remember when I was going through the 12 steps of AA and I was in REHAB.. The 11th step Stated that I would have a spiritual awakening. I woke up the next morning after Completing the 12 steps I saw a bright light and I was wide awake and I felt such Enlightenment! I was Reassured everything was gonna be alright! and I knew that I was gonna Make it through this process!! this song.Bring me back to that time!
