I actually really like this movie; I can understand why some people didn't like it, because it strayed pretty far from the shows, but I still like it for what it is; A 2009 comedy film with supprisingly good CGI on it's dinosaurs.

Is it just me or the music in this movie amazing. The score for the raptors attacking the ice cream truck is like a messed up funhouse theme and it fits really well.
My legit favorite "line" in this whole movie, it's hard since this trio, more like duo with Will Ferrel and Danny McBride have the greatest lines in this whole movie

The filmmakers and visual effects artists really did a great job in this science fiction comedy send up to a beloved classic, I know hardcore fans hate this adaptation but I absolutely love it imo.
Allosaurus was 80 million years prior to Tyrannosaurus rex, which mean there was more time between them than there is between Tyrannosaurus rex and human. Therefore, I don't think they were related to each other.

Trex would be closest to tarbosaurus and gorgosaurus. Allosaurus would be closest to acrocanthosaurus and giganotosaurus.

@@austinrand4130 .... no. Allosaurus was smaller and more lightly built. T-rex was much bulkier and more of an ambush predator. Rex was a bit faster than the average person, but allosaurus was much faster
The only reason I can understand why people didn’t like this movie is how different it is from the original Land of the Lost. Having said that, this movie is a goddamn masterpiece that I have defended since it released ❤️ Also, kinda sad that a dorky 2009 comedy movie has CGI that’s miles better than most modern movies.
