Great video. We took possession of our 2022 Ioniq 5 and was disappointed to the state of the paint (and glass!). Tonnes of swirls and scratches on the brand-new car. And the glass was stupidly dirty - inside and out, it took me several attempts with "Goo Gone" and solvents to remove all the muck and slime. :'( I explicitly requested they leave all the panels covered (whatever transport PPF they ship with) - they claim they could not, and it was a requirement of PDI to remove it. I wish I had pushed harder as it took me a solid 2 days to buff out the scratches and prep it for Xpel full-car PPF.
Yes, in our experience it doesn't matter what brand or how expensive the vehicle, we have never had a new vehicle that did not require decontamination and some level of corrections. If a person is particular and wants a "NEW" vehicle then specialized detailing services are required, for the masses it is clearly acceptable or the delivery process would have changed. Thank you for watching and supporting our channel.

Car looks amazing, great video. Sad that you pay that much for a new car and it is sold not fully detailed.

Very interesting, I totally would of thought that a car is at its best right out off the lot. But this makes a lot more sense, thanks for the info!
