  • In this video, we will walk you through the base shift feature in the Emlid Flow app. When you can't place a base on a known point, base shift allows you to set it up nearby and calculate the offset. After applying base shift, you can continue surveying as if your base is over the known point. We’ll explain in what cases base shift is helpful and how you can use it.

Kindly make a video on how to use Emlid studio to post process static observation data. Thank you.

Please create a THOROUGH CORRECT REAL WORLD EXAMPLE of Localization. I.e. bring a DXF CAD file in and Localize using Control Points and elevation 😊

The Calculated shift shown as the title slide/ frame for the video, and also seen at ruclips.net/video/PYw67TtYQXU/видео.html in the video, shows a shift in the northing of 7.8241 m, but shouldn't it be 50,000,007.824 m ?
There's also the unexplained bits at ruclips.net/video/PYw67TtYQXU/видео.html why the video is showing a local coordinate system for the known point, and then at ruclips.net/video/PYw67TtYQXU/видео.html the measured point is in SRB_ETRS89. This should be explained or corrected.

Seems all "example" videos for most software are like this. Just adds to confusion and makes one question things when trying to learn. It would be nice if the videos were thorough and correct based on real world examples.
Prime example: the KNOWN POINT illustration was at a higher elevation. Yet the data they use for the KNOWN and MEASURED are inverted in elevation. So yeah, ??? 😮

WHAT´S THE MAXIMUM DISTANCE TO MAKE THE BASE SHIFT?

If you just use it for a linear shift, there are no limitations.
