These super powerful handhelds coming out recently are super cool, but the prices are crazy. I'm not spending $1k+. For those that love these and will I'm happy you can and these exist for you. No big expense has to be done all at once. Setting a little amount to the side for months is normal and there is no shame in it. That's how i got my arcade. Took a year and a half to get the money.

@@nymbustheeverliving3704 Some people have bills to pay. Once bills are paid they do not much to save. I can save $50 a month. by the time I have enough this would be so out dated that I would end up putting money to either the latest model if they have one or it would just be point less. Regardless in my opinion this cost is merely for the excitement of this console and yet the steam decks isn't too far off from this Aya Neo and it's Only $400.00 - $600.00 Price to performance is better for the steam deck.

Best quality and best bang for your buck? Either choose one or the other. How about you wait until the steam deck is available for purchase for the masses. And then decide. Which is not for another half a year. Soon, my ass.
New 4800u laptops cost about the same or slightly less. So comparing a steam deck with different hardware is somewhat misleading. Adding a 1tb drive to the steam deck would get the price to be even closer.

I know it's not in it's final iteration, but I wonder how well the current steam os and the latest beta release of proton function on this machine. I'm not sure if the final specs of the Steam Deck will result in higher single clock performance, but this thing obviously benefits from more cores. Valve has said they want more "steam decks" and this seems like an expensive way to do just that. Obviously you could make big picture boot up by default in windows for higher stability, but that's not as fun.

I got the non-Pro Indiegogo version and it's the greatest thing I've ever bought 🤣 this thing plows through all emulation up to Wii u, allows for upscaling and, obviously, portabilizes all PC games. This device required an insane amount of setup for older games I like (which were broken by windows 10) and games that only support keyboard and mouse (recommend the program joytokey). As ETA said, changing wattage on the fly is easy, but hopefully they will add a wattage config option which allows you to set the watts for docked mode (25W/Max performance) or handheld (Max battery) on a game-by game basis, that way it just switches seamlessly and you don't have to change it every time you play a different game. The aya space app can be glitchy at times but is overall very helpful.
anywho, I'm playing Halo MCC/infinite on the couch and it's mind-blowing lol. Sure you could use xcloud, but the input lag of the built-in controller is virtually non-existent! Aya neo gets a 11/10 from me.

My question is if there is any problem when showing emulation of active consoles since the process of dumping said games cannot necessarily be comfortable as in the case of the Nintendo Switch, not to mention the possibility of losing monetization if Nintendo claims the video for include their games in the video in the context of emulation as they are titles from a commercially active platform.
If the above is not correct and does not generate danger in your videos or inconveniences for you, I would very much like the possibility that you include Yuzu / Ryujinx within the emulation videos more constantly, especially in handheld videos.

The problem is that this is just a gaming device and I can't justify spending that much on just a gaming device, especially with steam deck around the corner. But if this was a 12" productivity tablet with optional add on controllers that attaches to the side, it would justify the price. I would daily drive this in my office and when I'm home just attach the controllers and it becomes a gaming device.
The price is fair for the processing power but it being gaming only really hurts the value proposition.

I hope GPD, OneXPlaYer, AYA Neo and Valve work together to form minimum open standards and coming out with Linux/Steam OS models, while still allowing users to install Windows themselves if they want.
The only difference between all devices is giving plenty of choice and options for gamers with
