that Santa Fe is evolutionary because it's cooler and boxier, but the 3rd row standard is another big win. but despite the recalls, i'm gonna let the HYUNDAI Group do their thing. well done Hyundai

Actually more like a tardis, it's not that big.. I own one, and if i put it next to my wife's rav4 hybrid, it sits a little taller, is maybe 3in wider, and maybe 3in longer.. but if you park it next to a tahoe it looks tiny.. lol
I like the design get rid of the turbo and put in a nice V6 and lift it a bit more offer a real off road trim and this would sell well especially if it had a 2 door model.

I own one, not a huge fan of the back of it, but.. the older generation likes to see out of vehicles without the need for electronics. square vehicles are easier to see out of, easier to get into, easier to get out of, and generally have more room to load home depot run stuff into. While a tahoe would be nice, you can buy two of these, you could get.. what else? I couldn't find anything that wasn't a minivan for 45k with real leather that would fit an 8ft piece of lumber in the back with the tailgate shut..
It looks cool, but I see too many comments from owners of Hyundai/Kia that have major engine & transmission problems. Plus a couple of the professional shop channels on here do not recommend buying Hyundai or Kia vehicles. 😑

Transmissions are fine. It was faulty control unit programming that caused the transmissions to be damaged. Recall issued for all affected units, so things should be good to go.
Ford called, they want their Flex back 😂 Incidentally, I own a 2018 Flex Limited EB. Love it! I wish they had made it long enough to have put the 10 spd in it.
It’s Cyber Truck inspired. Bland, thoughtless, child-like styling. I think Hyundai must’ve said what the heck, we’ll give it a try and see what happens. 23 mpg and 7 seconds to 60 mph sound really good for a huge hauler like this.
I’m a Hyundai/Kia hater because they used to copy their styling from the Germans and Land Rover. This thing has features that some luxury automakers don’t have, great MPG and on-road performance… What more do we really need?
I’m surprised Under Armour hasn’t sued Hyundai for the shape of their running lights. Seems more of the same Hyundai. Cover shoddy mechanical devices and poor quality with pretty decor and decent pricing.
I've seen these in person, and they really do not look that bad. Pretty cool actually. The Cyber Truck however is hideous.
the rear tail lights make me think, 90's Geo Metro. How low they are on the rear gate.
Lol, my daughters 1rst car @ 17 was a Geo Metro. That 3 cylinder dynamo was great. She was still driving it when she got her Masters!

Went to the dealership to check them out...They are very sharp in person
I have a neighbor who owns one. It's very attractive.
Me too. Test drove the Hybrid Limited edition. Very smooth ride and the interior is spacious and quite impressive! Definitely considering.
I have a green limited one financed at 3.99 apr had to jump on it for the wife.

I remember when 0-60 in 7 seconds was fast!
7 seconds is plenty fast enough for sane people
Hyundai turbo motors are rated as whp not hp. My stock kona dyno’d 276 whp stock which is above 300 in hp.
I know, not that long ago that was sport compact acceleration numbers..
My wife thinks 7 seconds is way too quick.

Stunning looking truck, such a simple design, elements of the new land cruiser and Range Rover.

There's a rare mention.

The previous generation with the 2.5T was faster
Yes.. because it was diesel. Do you not know how engines work?

No issues with the hybrid version.

With the majority of cars being crossover/suvs nowadays, having the taillights that low is risky.
That is minimized by the requirement of a high mounted center stop light for the last several decades.

Skip all the other trims and get the Hybrid.
