Charmadi Ghat View Point can be reached from Bangalore via Nelamangala - Hassan - Belur - Kottigehara - Charmadi Ghat View Point.
Total Distance from Bangalore city to Charmadi Ghat view point is 280Kms
Charmadi Ghat (language/Kannada:ಚಾರ್ಮಾಡಿ ಘಾಟ್) is a Ghat in Belthangady and Mudigere taluk of Dakshina Kannada and Chikkamagaluru. It is one of the points in Western ghats through which motorable road passes connecting Dakshina Kannada with Chikkamagaluru district.
Located at a distance of less than 10 kilometers from Dharmasthala, these hills are dense and lush, dotted with mountain streams and waterfalls, offering natural splendor in all its glory especially during monsoon season.
Charmadi Ghat starts from Charmadi village(11 km from Ujire) and ends at Kottigehara(14 km from Mudigere).
Dont forget to try this route if you are planning to travel to coastal Karnataka (Udupi or Mangalore) from Bangalore.
This was part of our 3 days trip to Chikkamagalur and Hassan during 30 Dec 2016.

Grt job.i have seen many people taking only road or drone shots of charmadi...can we actually trek those mountains and reach pinnacle..is it allowed, safe and doable...i saw that one peak moutain when i travel on road thru charmadi..i wanna trek that???

Rightly said. This ghat road gets narrow only at some points. During our latest visit we observed that road widening work is happening wherever it is possible.
