Thanks for popping off the armor. I was tempted to do it but I only have one of them. If I get a second one I might take off the cloth on the entire upper body to see if that will allow him to crunch forward. If it’s a significant crunch forward, I might attempt to customize the armor with the crunch.
Oh no! Now I'm torn! I _really_ love the look on this figure and I honestly think that the arm, leg and ankle articulation is good enough to pose him up well. Also the effects pieces are amazing. But he doesn't scale at all well with 1000Toys figures, which are my main collection. Cable is not a problem because he looks like a tank. I'll wait until the Mafex comes out and check the reviews to see if he's any good scale-wise. If not then I'll definitely get this guy anyway! Definitely getting the mafex version as well despite their history with broken figures. They also announced mafex Psylocke. Pretty sure there's gonna be more X-men line in the future.

This Gambit figure is gorgeous. It looks exactly like what I would think of as a classic Gambit, but informed by modern design fundamentals without betraying the original aesthetic. It's all of the flair of a classic comic design without any of the goofiness. That's really hard to do, and Mezco nails it almost every time. They should be designing on-screen suits for movies.
This figure looks very good. The face seems to be inspired by Andy Kubert (? -I get the 2 brothers confused) comics. The wired coat is amazing. Great video.

Damn that’s sexy. It always looked like he’d be great but I held off in anticipation of Mafex announcing one- which they did. I kind of want to get one just to customise the armour and bring out the articulation. Hard to believe that finding a way a split that piece was beyond Mezco or just deemed not worth the effort.
I've pre ordered this...I also own a mezco diabolik so I'm going to put the gambit head on the diabolik body and put the trench coat on...give him more of a thief look see if it looks good.
Looks great but im not a huge gambit fan...... But all i can say.... It's a perfect gambit the look the face the eyes the suit the jacket? All of he's body and armor is just gambitly...... Nice....
Great review , i cut my Thor & aquaman between the torso & the belt ... i will do the same on my gambit when it arrives ... its so much better , yu take off the torso bit , then work out where to cut with a sharp modelling knife ... cut around the muscles or lines , then go along the cut with a black marker pen . There is a review how to do this on aquaman on youtube ... just be careful & take yur time ....
You do NOT get a swivel at the top of the boot. It feels like you do, and thats what I thought, but I wound up breaking the entire boot clean off his leg attempting to move it. It's glued in there with a keyed peg, much like the Apocalypse wave Storm. Was easy enough to fix, but just thought I'd warn you before you potentially break yours like I did mine.
Also this gambit goes with the new rogue just fine ..you have the marvel app for comics? Remember the pic they used during valentines day? Ever read the marvel legacy comics? Yea its not jim Lee rogue but gambit has been pictured with rogue in many diff outfits

But me personally I bust these figures down just to have my own take on their view. And truthfully when I'm done the figure(s) end up as something totally off the beaten path. But that's just me. So please please please a hundred thousand times please politic that for us my brother. Hotep.

Also I may come off as knocking don't mean to. But not you some other chaps influenced me on some other figures and I got played. They didn't go in like you do. So I had to excuse them other reviewers on that. But like you said when the thought path is made up. That figure(s) is in or out. Just trying to push other a-alikes to demand more. Especially when it comes to Gomez and the Golden Skull type figures. No diss but less Batman and more of the Gomez line for us all. Also you didn't take a L removing Gamit's vest. That's pretty much your job as a reviewer. Keep going in as long as you have an extra though. Hotep brother.
