In the first year when you recorded provision, the second effect of income statement, where did it go in second year? The Bad debts ac only shows current year’s 4k

Will the provision for doubtful debts which is debited to Profit and loss account (9400) be shown at the same amount in the next year? Or will the new provision (5400) only be shown next year?

Hie Sir. So on the statement of financial position the amount to be shown as receivables amount is after deducting the allowance for doubtful debts

I've a doubt that if we want to increase provision so should we write it in credit side and when there will be a decrease in profit so should we write it under debit side . Will always provision and profit will've credit balance as u have said in the video

Hi Sir, What is treatment when PDD provided in 1st year, there are no Bad debts occurred in 2nd year and had carried forwarded PDD to 3rd year and management has anticipated no future loss against Debtors at the end of 3 year end for future? Pls explain. thank in advance.
