Only a few dozen demonstrators gathered peacefully on the University of Texas at Austin’s South Lawn for a “teach-in” about the war in Gaza on Tuesday, a stark contrast to the campus chaos that has embroiled the university over the past week as students and outside organizers attempt to protest and establish encampments.

What percentage of these folks are actually UT students? And why Wednesday? They need time to bus more people in?
Where were the police during the Ulvade shootings?
What good will come out of these protesters? Protesting is a choice, what good protesting here is going to change things in other countries? They can protest all they want but the violence has to stop! If you are arrested they need to be expelled and not aloud back and if they have scholarship it needs to be revoked.

🤦Where. Is your. PETITION?
It's your first amendment right. That's a college campus, I assume you are somewhat intelligent, and educated enough to get in. Why don't you take that crowd of like minded people and hammer out SOLUTIONS? Write it down on a legal petition, and then have THE GIANT CROWD, sign the petition. While simultaneously drawing attention to your issue?
Have you seen the videos of interviews of them? Most of them don't understand what they are protesting about. The ones who truly do understand are antisemitic at best. The ones who truly understand that chanting from the river to the sea means demanding the destruction of Israel are enemies of the USA.
