Many family trips to Blackpool growing up. Visits with different generations of the family, many now passed. Then as a parent you repeat the cycle, by taking your children here and I guess the tradition will long continue. Fantastic footage of the better days!

That's the year I went first went go Blackpool I was 1 year old in 1989 lol my dad didn't have a video camera he was still using his super 8 lol. Brilliant video thank you 😊
Just wish I could go back to 1989 in Blackpool when I was 31. I have fond memories of driving from London to enjoy my favourite amusement in town on the night of December 15/16 that year, 12 hours from 9pm to 9am at the Fun House in grey stockingfeet. Sadly like other buildings and attractions such as the Derby Baths, Wild Mouse, Log Flume, and the sound of the old trams on the promenade, they are no longer there. But there is always the Tower, three piers, Winter Gardens, the Pepsi Big one rollercoaster.
My 1st trip to Blackpool was when i was 14 years old, i am now 71. I went with my friend and his mum and dad in 1967. I thought i had went to paradise as it was very busy, Radio Caroline broadcasting offshore and stallholders all along the front tuning in. I still go to Blackpool and its nothing like it was then. I enjoyed the video thank you for sharing.
