Mamoswine was a really good take on the Charizard formula. Plus I love how Dawn used a big Mamoswine in contests in stark contrast to something cute or elegant. Now that's a true coordinator.
It’s true cause like when Charizard first evolved it disobeyed Ash and the only times it wanted to battle was when it was taunted by an Areodactyl, wanted to settle things with Blaine’s Magmar and Ritchie’s charmander. And it didn’t start respecting Ash until that time when Ash kept its tail lit after it got hit by ice beam, it started remembering the times when Ash cared for it.
I loved Mamoswine's power! I agree, it was definitely a good balance to the overall cutesy theme of Dawn's other team members. It would be interesting to see another Wallace Cup and see more new combinations!
I'm annoyed it lost to Iris' Dragonite, but still even more annoyed May's Glaceon lost to Dawn's Piplup haha The only good thing that came from Iris beating Dawn is that Ash got to beat her and fully evolve his Krookodile in the next round!
@@ProfessorAlexSilver heck I couldn't believe it wasn't automatically disqualified in the following round against Ash because if I remember correctly, it started "listening" to Iris. However, it lost its mind after Krookodile used Crunch and it started firing Flamethrower and Ice Beam attacks around the arena into the freaking audience HAHA it was as random as no one reacting to Dawn's Mamoswine rampaging against Carnivine in the contest battle.
I don't think it's that bad that May lost to Dawn. Yeah, May did have more experience than Dawn, however that win helped Dawn overcome her depression arc since she was on a losing streak at the time. Moreover, it's not like it was a bad battle either.
I love how Mamoswine's story was similar to Charizard's I just wish that during the time Dawn was having trouble with Mamoswine Ash told her about the trouble he had with his Charizard after it evolved from charmander & how it stopped obeying him after it evolved to make her feel better & gave Dawn some advive on what to do since he knew what she was going through

Dawn's rival/friend, Zoey and her glameow, could be one to discuss in a future video. Since much like Dawn, she had a love for Pokémon contests and like Iris didn't start off with a traditional starter as her first Pokémon as well.
I really enjoyed the hoenn and sinnoh contests. but the sinnoh contests were beautiful better executed. dawn is truly a superb coordinator. it's a shame that in xy's anime the contests were replaced by those annoying fashion shows where whatever it was
Mamoswine is my all time Favorite Pokemon. Mostly because of Dawn's Mamoswine, but it's also a powerful Pokémon with an amazing design. I just love that Mammoth

Piloswine was destined to evolve in A Breed Stampede, since when it learns Ancient Power in the games and grows another level, it evolves into Momoswine. Other than that, this Pokémon was a really good showcase of a disobedient Pokémon. It’s not Ash’s Charizard, who’s iconic, and Iris’ Dragonite, who didn’t deserve that kind of attitude.

I think that they will mainly have a ground battle and show off their strength and charizard will fly out of desperation. I know charizard will fly at the start but then will stay on the ground.
