We head to Costco to finish off our Christmas shopping, but first, dinner at the Trafford Centre with Wingstop and Slim Chickens.

Oh no as soon as Ant saw that Texas toast he said “that’s burnt I bet the whole meals not great” it’s normally so good but it didn’t look it then.
So glad you got the village, we looked at the castle too but we got a tree with a train through it a few years ago (explanation not doing it justice) and we’d have to put that away for the castle so decided not to as it just didn’t look great.
We got the apple tart the other day, it’s such good value but had a very soggy bottom 😂. What was the garlic bread like? We’ve looked at it a few times but still not bought, we used to love the one that came with the meal deal in the food court!
Those dresses are so cute, Matilda used to spend every summer in their summer dresses and every Christmas in the winter dresses, I was gutted when she grew out of them as they’re so good value and washed so well.
Matilda loves books too, she’s got more books than the library I think 😂.
The food courts are so much better with self serve but they 100% need more tables, the jackets were like £1.50 18 months ago (damn inflation) but still such good value. It’s never too cold for an ice cream though, although Ant hasn’t forgiven them for stopping selling chocolate 😂.

We’ve always wanted to try Slim Chickens and whilst the sauces were good, we definitely preferred Wingstop so not sure if we’d bother again tbh! We were also a bit confused by the Texas Toast, it wasn’t really adding anything to the meal.
The garlic bread is amazing!! Oscar says it’s his new fave 🤣 we’ll be picking up some more when we’re next there. Shame about the apple tart as it looks so pretty!
Ahh I can imagine Matilda in those dresses, they’re very cute and like you say, such good value. The books too! We didn’t pick anything up on this trip but we’re always adding to either mine or Oscar’s collection, although now I have Kindle Unlimited, it’s usually digital copies for me now.
Yes agree, self-serve kiosks is soooo much better but they do need to add more tables to allow people to eat in ☺️
Enjoying your vlogs , never been to Costco enjoyed that part , are you sure Pete not get 86 inch tv to be delivered xmas day while you were looking Disney merch , 😇😇
