This is the kind of videos that i need. There is always people showing their finished track and how they made it. But never how to actually come up with those ideas or the struggle behind the scenes. I think this video shows the reality of being a music producer and i really like it. Pls do more of these kind of videos!!! LOVE YOU MHA!!

Everyones already said it man but seeing the struggle really resonates with the community. Its so easy to latch onto the realeases of our favourite artists without seeing the 100 unreleased tracks/ideas it took to get there. Its all about winning the lottery and entering that flow state that suddenly catches you off guard when your at your wits end.
Will always be here whenever you drop content mate, youre one of the channels that really helped me to improve.

i've been watching ur vids since 2020 and this is by far the one i resonate with the most! i really appreciate you showing the parts where you struggle to come up with stuff, it reminds me that im not alone and that everyone has periods of time where they can't come up with anything good or interesting! i've heard that making genres that you've never made before/don't usually make helps with writers block which explains why the only thing you've been able to make this month is that 80s love song xd. i believe that forcing yourself to work on the idea and upload it no matter what works great, i did a similar thing by forcing myself to make a project and upload it to yt everyday for some time and it forced me to keep pushing until i got to a good idea, instead of giving up as i usually do. great to see you back and wish you luck in the rest of the series! ❤

Quick tip to speed up your work flow! When layering synths you can add a “layer” in the pattern and then root all synths to 1 layer. You can control the midi of all those connected synths to 1 pattern! When switching notes you don’t have to paste that pattern to all layers again
I know about that! I use it quite often when using a lot of layers
I hate being dry if ideas. I've been feeling the same way for months now. I really want to get back and start making things and maybe even try making videos but it's just figuring out where to start and get the ball rolling. Once you get that good idea you can sit there for hours straight working on it
Absolutely. BUT, its important to "force" yourself to make something sometimes too. I was dry on ideas when I pressed record for this video. But if i hadnt forced myself to press that record button i would never have started to make this track!

MHA, you should try making songs for a purpose (e.g. releasing on a specific label, or producing a song for a specific event), that really helps with knowing what to do imo.
Thats a great idea! Or that should evoke a certain emotion even or something like that. You are absolutely right! Its great for videos and stuff like that but the problem is i dont know what kind of music i want to make for myself if that makes sense. I guess just a bunch of different stuff so thats what Ill do i think 🤷
