Have to watch this movie for my birthday in 2 weeks time.. Never seen it, it was bought for me on dvd about 5 yrs ago for my birthday and i still havent watched it .. Hope it been worth waiting for, stellan is hot too
I'm from sweden and I think it's so cool that a swedish actor can be in american moovies :D it's silly but i'm proud of all swedish actors and actress, and i'm glad that you hwo are from USA think that he's good :P (comment if i've spell anything wrong. I wanna learn) :)
I adore Stellan Skarsgård - AND his two boys who have also done well in the US. I think Stellan is one of the most handsome men in films - and I remember when he played the part of the Math professor in "Good Will Hunting."
i saw stellan in River. what a performance. i was completely blown away. at the end i cried. and then they started dancing which was just so insane, the lights and everything, and i was laughing and crying. what an experience it was. i think this guy can do anything at all. you would never think of him as a romantic hero at this point but there he was in such an incredible love story with a deeply developed character and story line plus being a good detective story. amazing. i wish i could see him and meryl streep together in something with some meat on its bones.
I like that Colin Firth seems to really hate this film compared to Hairspray... or any other film ever. Skarsgård seems to be looking at him as he disses it as though "WTF are you saying?? Don't diss the film!" But that be my opinion...
I agree. Actually he said he had a great time. He is simply answering the same stupid question over and over again...about singing and dancing on the film. They could be more creative, couldn't they?
