- For people who stutter, speaking in public in front of a group can be a huge challenge. One key to success at gaining confidence at public speaking is regular practice. Toastmasters International provides a safe and supportive space for all people to learn and practice public speaking to enhance their personal and professional lives. Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that builds confidence and teaches public speaking skills through a worldwide network of clubs that meet online and in person.
In this session Monica Jackson, Carl Coffey, and Chris Goldman, all people who stutter who are current/former Toastmasters, plus Ahmad Gilliam, Toastmasters District 63 Director, discuss how Toastmasters International can help persons who stutter along with everyone else succeed at public speaking.
Excellent presentation! How do we encourage more NSA members to join Toastmasters?
