I’m stuck at home with Lyme disease, feeling awful, but I need to keep busy so I don’t start feeling sorry for myself. I’ve made a bunch of hats for charity and I decided to make some scarves to go with them. This video is perfect. Having you show me how to do this is just like sitting and crocheting with a friend, Crystal. I’m busy, I’m happy and you are wonderful company. Thank you! ❤️

I had to come back on here and say thank you again. I have tried so many different times and different videos and tutorials and could just not understand the c2c and have wanted to for so long, but I literally watched a couple of minutes of your video crystal and I am working on a blanket. I'm just so 😊 happy! The secret that helped me was DC before the flip ao I didn't get lost and also that you named the different squares the increase block and the regular blocks. You are such a gifted teacher!

Oh my gosh. I think you taught me how to understand it. I have tried c2c so many times and get lost every single time and I think it is because I always tried to turn before double crocheting. I am about to try it right now because I am so excited!

Same for me!!! Now I know there is blocs for increase, regulars ones and those to decrease. Also, I think that, like you Crystal, turning my work after de 3 DC is the only Way for me ...I cant wait to try a pattern j myself !!!

I got a bunch of skeins of three different colors to make my hubby an afghan and matching hat and scarf. I knew I wanted to do the Sober Granny for the blanket, but couldn't figure out what to do for the hat and scarf. I saw this video when it came out and just knew that this set would look just right with the blanket I was already half way through with. It took me just over a month total to finish the blanket (last night yay!!) and am just about to finish sewing in the ends of the hat tonight (so fast). Tomorrow its on with the scarf. I don't know if I am going to do the pom-pom though, since the hat is reversible. I added a brim at the beginning and it looks so good. Thank you so much Crystal.

OMG I just watched a cat food ad that was 42.49 long! What is youtube thinking??? I didn't actually watch it; I let it run, did the dishes, came back, folded the laundry, came back, etc. I think you are the only creator I would do that for and I love this scarf! I love this pattern, so easy, and don’t need to worry about counting stitches to make sure the width of the scarf doesn’t go wonky. The pattern ensures nice even borders. I just finished a cowl, 28” circumference and 7” wide. I only had one skein of yarn bee soft and sleek chunky, #5 bulky, 211 yards which was plenty. I just left a long tail and used the tapestry needle to sew the two sides together. The seam doesn’t show at all. 😊
