Picked up the Milmm and Green Castle Hill there. They have only made about 4,000 bottles of three different batches. Such a sleeper, seems like it’s 15-17 yr old Dickle sourced aged both in TN and remainder in TX as a pet project by the distiller.
Kentucky has so many stores and so much bourbon. I'm probably doing a road trip to Louisville Memorial weekend and I'm looking forward to it. Cheers and thanks for watching!!
I guess I have tunnel vision when it comes to New Riff. I have enjoyed everything from New Riff. At about 8:26 you passed by New Riff Malted Rye($64.99) it is a unique experience. Compared to the Alberta Premium cask strength that you said you liked this is a different beast. It is much sweeter but still has a little spice to it. Other WhiskeyTubers have reviewed it and I have yet go see a negative one. I have been to New Riff Distillery twice and the last time I was there they did not have any of the Malted Rye(sold out). It was a little surprising to see it on the shelf during your video. I also saw the New Riff sour mash single malt cask strength(about 2:10). I bought that at the distillery instead since I've never bought a sour mash whiskey or an American single malt. I haven't tried it yet but the bottle reads that it is "Comprised of up to six different mashbills". I know the phrase everyone uses is 'don't sleep on' so I'll say do a little research and support the new kid on the block. Good luck on the Milam&Greene. I hear the port finished rye is excellent
I have a New Riff Single barrel and it’s okay. Went to the distillery and had a few pours at the bar. They were okay but didn’t have to buy any. Yeah, the Malted Rye seems interesting

We are going to the milam & green tasting at Hartman's distilling. Should be interesting.
I'd love to be able to still find that Frankfort on the shelves here in Houston. It's long gone.

I need another Bottle of the Penelope 9 YR, can’t find them around me anywhere. 😢
I need to try the sample I have. Everyone says it’s phenomenal!
@@BuffaloBourbonEnthusiasts it definitely is
Don't sleep on the 2xO Kentucky gem
I know it’s good but it’s a $200 bottle. I’m not sure I want to spend that type of money on it.
@@BuffaloBourbonEnthusiasts I get it luckily I have a friend who did and it's very good stuff. I'd love it at 150.
Hardins Creek Frankfort!?
I'm off my Beam kick. So passing on most.
@@BuffaloBourbonEnthusiasts I applaud your restraint.
