Sorry for tour loss. This hobby can and will humble you. Everyone has gone through this at some point. You just have to learn from it and get back at it. You will bounce back. Keep pushing. Keep making videos. Lots of time you will find solace with others in the community. We understand.
This ain’t the first time I’ve had a set back. I appreciate the kind words. I will persevere and get back on track. This hobby humble and keeps you humble fo sho!
Sorry for your losses. But…Never give up. I also lost my whole zoanthid garden and couple of other corals but still trying to figure out what happens and running some icp test.
Thank you for the kind words. I appreciate it. I won’t be giving up but it sucks for all the hard work to be damaged because of work and illness as well as not being able to get the items I needed when I needed it.
I'm so sorry to hear about your losses. Whenever you think you're going to be busy with work, maybe you should hire a person to look after your tank temporarily until you get that time again? These things happen sometimes.
Lost all my montis and anacropora to MEN last yr even though I hadn’t added any frags for 6+months, and I QT my frags for 2+ months before adding to my display. Now I’m monti fallow for 7 months until July. Reef on!🤪. Something is wrong with me…
Dang dude. I’m sorry for your loss too. At this time I have not even figured out what happened (maybe i never will). I e been doing this for 30 years and it ain’t the first time I have had a problem, probably won’t be the last… keep reefing and keep learning!
@@mr.reefsafe9186 Yeah I didn’t know how sneaky MEN are, and once you get them going fallow is the only real solution since most dips don’t work. Now I wonder how long I really should qt montis? Any ideas?
First I really appreciate you reaching out to me. Yes. I did get dinos and a coral bacterial infection in the tank AND my good bacteria had a massive die off. It’s been painful and I have been quite down over it. However, I am working up the strength to do a video about it and I am not giving up. I just need to do this in my time. My wife is upset about it too and I need her to be at a point she is okay too
Think of it as survival of the fittest through this hard time. This pertains to you and your animals! The survivors will soon be strong again. I had a 90gal tank that literally crashed to the floor. Glass, sand, and water went everywhere. Ruined flooring, subfloor, and furniture in my basement. About 2 and a half years later now, I have a bigger tank that's 5 months old, in the same spot.
Dang! Puts things in perspective for me. I have a minor setback compared to you my friend! Keep up the work. Send me some pics of it all if you have them. Ask.Mr.ReefSafe@gmail.com Thank you for the encouragement.

That’s part of this hobby, when we have everything running well then something came up that screw everything.

So did you get Dino? Your previous video looked like it. Any chance to look under microscope yet? I love your tank, please update soon ❤
