Hi, great video, very well explained. I did it exactly like your video but I can't get my ASIC miners connected to the pool. Are there any other settings? I use as pool a root server in the cloud with Ubuntu and as miner an Iceriver AL0. Thanks.
super walk through: Q - do you have to wait for the node to be synchronised before doing the next steps? edited - ah yes, at least up to the point where you have to restart it. Otherwise it will just start synchronsing again.
Tried step by step everything - recheck million times and everything is correct, However bzminer saying: no connection could be made becouse target machine actively refuse it. Any help?
that a problem with your network, you have to go into your firewall and allow the port number through the firewall, if that doesnt work then the port numbers are mixed up. that error occurs because you have a node running but no services listening on the specified port
@@raserdk1 im on windows 10 , so I found the .alephium folder on C: then made a new folder on my other drive I think i moved the folder to the new drive before doing this just incase doing this would delete anything On the PC search for Advanced System Settings > Click on Environment Variables at the bottom > Click New Put the Variable name as ALEPHIUM_HOME then select Browse Directory for the new folder or you can make one ie you're pointing to say X:\!mining\.alephium ( or what ever you want to name it ) that worked for me , then copied the original folder into the new place ( both had same folder name ) ran the java again and it carried on from where it got full )(Longer way is Control panel > System & security > System > Related Settings > advanced System settings

yes sir
Gosh this is so much easier than kaspa node
Stratum bridge not required for miner to connect to node?
no

I clicked enter, and it just showed the files within the folder. It didn't run anything? My script looks just like yours. Any help?
what specs requires for this to mine decent amount?
Not much for the node, but you’ll proabably need mining equipment like fpga or asic
Will any system work? Have an old pc laying around.
pretty much
What about a decent smartphone?
Thank you so very much for this one. I am using Mac M1 and couldn't find .alephium/user.conf in my Home or in any other location. Any idea?
Mac is always hard to find files with node stuff, check the alephium docs website it might have the location for the file on there
I found it about it. It was hidden. Mac considers files that starts with dot as System files and himes them automatically@@SterlingSpecter1
oh shit its filled my C drive
Figured out how to move the data folder to another drive
Could you guide me i dont get where i put the ALEPHIUM_HOME setting
@@raserdk1 im on windows 10 , so
I found the .alephium folder on C: then made a new folder on my other drive
I think i moved the folder to the new drive before doing this just incase doing this would delete anything
On the PC search for Advanced System Settings >
Click on Environment Variables at the bottom >
Click New
Put the Variable name as ALEPHIUM_HOME
then select Browse Directory for the new folder or you can make one
ie you're pointing to say X:\!mining\.alephium ( or what ever you want to name it )
that worked for me , then copied the original folder into the new place ( both had same folder name )
ran the java again and it carried on from where it got full
