I would like to see more of the back of the ornament; we got just a quick glance, and it looked interesting. Please! We really do want to see every stitch!!!
Just found your channel...Love this creation! I'm hoping to make a few ornaments and other Christmas deco this season. Thank you so much for sharing and explaining what I'll need for this project.
Thank you! These were a ton of fun to make. I put them on the packages last year as a decoration and then the kids/grandkids got to keep them for their tree! thanks for watching. xo
As per other comments, I"m not quite sure how you did the back too...i get the front, the batting, etc, but the back was really not addressed.... Thank you - it's a beautiful project !!
The back is done exactly like the front. Then you stitch them together. (I just left the edges raw instead of "hiding" the seam.) If you don't want the extra bulk of two pieces of batting, then just stitch one side onto batting, the other side you can just stitch on to a piece of cotton or an old sheet or something, then sew the two pieces together. Or if you don't want to sew them together, you can glue them together. Thanks for watching!
I love this Lauretta thank you for sharing. I have so many Christmas scraps and this is a lovely way to use them, I am thinking they would make a lovely Christmas gift 😊
This is so adorable Lauretta! Thanks so much for sharing this idea. I like making a new ornament for my Christmas tree every year so this will be the one for 2022. Thanks! Ines xx
Love this Lauretta, we all have Christmas fabrics out because of the journal of stitchery anyway. Great way to use the off cuts. Tfs Hugs Susanna xx ♥️😄🎄
Thank you, Susanna! I'm not doing Roxy's 12 Days of Christmas. At least not yet. I might after these blasted craft fairs are over. So, I haven't watched any of her prompts or anything! So happy everybody is joining in with it and having fun. Take care. xo
