But, we celebrate all Hindu festivals and regularly visit Mandir to respect my father's in law family. Even my last visit to India ( from UK)... I have taken my son a religious tour ( with the help of my friends in Tamilnadu) we have told my son not to forget the roots. Who ever you are now... But, never forget your ancestry. I think I have done what my family ancestors what they deserves. Don't be fanatic...is my Moto. I love Hinduism..❤ I feel pity on such people who stick to recent! religious values...my advice to such people is... Open your mind and accept what you are really! I really thankful to my whole family and to my friends who are still on my side. 🙏
Agree with you, I am from the NE, born in a Christian family(G8 grand parents became Christians) but before Christianity, our people follow the indigenous religion, which is known to have a deep connection to nature and ancestral worship with local traditions and customs.. This side of the continent has very high South Indian especially TAMIL influence & MURUGAN is most worshipped deity here. Malaysia, S'pore, Cambodia, Laos, Srilankan & Indonesian Hindus vidit this mandir for Pilgrimage place. Hence they renovated the temple more for Religious Tourism than just a mandir for worship.
