@@AlessaParkernever seen that breed in real life or in cinema anywhere but that episode. Looks weird but it actually did not look agressive. The cast probably had a better time with it than any of the animals like that damned monkey as Jennifer Anniston called it.
The way everybody just pinned down Rachel so Monica could put in the eye drops 😂. Now those are friends who care.

Your commentary is always so great. I feel a bit of sadness as Season 5 draws to a close here on this channel, but there is still so much joy to be had
There are a few love interests for the Friends that I feel like got written off because it wasn't quite time for them to settle down for the show. I loved Pete so much! And Kathy and David. But I understand the need to keep the show on its toes. And Phoebe doesn't need someone who harms animals. She's got some fun stuff coming up.
Friends really sucked at breaking up couples formed that made it past 1 episode. Pete being great for Monica? Let's break them up by this billionaire randomly wanting to be a successful UFC fighter. Kathy. Recently Danny's absurd new character trait, incest. And it's not over yet, this trend will continue for a couple more times across the remaining seasons.

I have the same problem with putting eyedrops, someone else doing it doesn't help either. I bought some and couldn't do more than few days. I can touch my eyes with fingers with no problem though!
I am just like Rachel. For me it's definitely not voluntary. I flinch away from the eye drops or whatever it is cuz I literally cannot control it. P sure it's a phobia. I haven't had a glaucoma test in years because it just won't work. Eye drops were impossible till i was in my mid thirties. Honestly I wonder if I lost an eyeball in another life or something, but I'm totally on her side, if somebody pinned me down and put eye drops in my eyes like that, I would have felt SO violated.
Another thing that's unrealistic real-estate-wise. They got an apartment and moved in in like the same day? What happened to the old apartment? I hope/think it was just Phoebe spending the night at his place, but I also think they are supposed to be implying that it's the new apartment?..

I understand your feeling of nostalgia, season 5 is my favorite but I must admit that from here on the humor always escalates and is great, also remember that you can always go back to season 5 and find comfort like I do!
It always amazed me that Gary was ready to move in with Phoebe but he didn't realise shooting a bird in front of her was a no-no since she's a vegetarian and hates seeing animals being hurt. Just shows they didn't know each other at all!
Fun fact: David Schwimmer is actually allergic to cats. Also, hairless cats are not hypoallergenic as many people think so Monica could have had an allergic reaction to it. Dander, which comes from skin and not fur, is what usually causes allergies.

I relate so much to Rachel! I have a weird thing about my eyes also, which is why I can’t get contacts and continue to wear glasses. I hate things touching my eyes!! I had to have eye drops as a child and my parents had to hold me down and force the eye drops into me or else I’d flip out 😂

it seems like since Monica hooked up with Miss Chanandler Bong tha she started a much more childlike exuberance. He influenced her growth and Monica enhanced his growth. So is the naked cat close to Shawn Cassidy or a child? lol ... So i get Rachel with the eye issue. I had a metal sliver work its way into my eye at about 9 years old and i was Howling for mom to get it out. she had to flush my eye with tap water. i dont know which hurt worse he metal splinter in my eye or the chemicals in the tap water., anyways got the sliver out. lol.

It's never confirmed who it was on the show, but it's known that someone on the show was written off quite quickly after they insulted Lisa (Phoebe)
Apparently one of her romantic interests rehearsed with her not in makeup and when she finally got in makeup he was like "now you're beautiful" or something (plus a few other comments) Long story short they wrote the actor's character off the show as quickly as possible... Garry's exit always seemed suspiciously sudden to me (so he's my guess as to who they're talking about)

Hot take on the cat episode, but I am pretty sure it was the pillow not the cat that was $1000, like it's a red velvet pillow or cushion, it's probably very expensive it would make perfect sense for that to be $1000 and the fact that she got it with the cat is kind of weird, like did she get it from a pet shop? I'm still kind of confused where she got the cat from and the fact that she got the pillow with it like come on Rachel, I kept wanting to scream at the screen because after watching this show several times, that episode always really bothers me because it's like will Rachel it was probably the pillow that was the thousand dollars not the cat you could just sell the cat without the pillow and you still get your money is worth $1000 there have been expensive, but I don't think any of them would cost $1000, but you know what might cost $1000, a super rare red velvet beautiful old pillow like that's probably where the thousand dollars came from not from the cat itself, I mean I guess the cat could've been $1000 but I think it's more likely that it was actually the pillow the whole time, at least that was always my Interpretation on this episode and that's what made it really funny is that Rachel was so dumb that she paid $1000 for a cat and it turned out to be a pillow the whole time, I would've thought that would've been really funny and I still think that is the case I am just so shocked that nobody in universe actually said to her Rachel did you ever think it was probably the pillow that cost of the year thousand dollars not the cat like no one pulled her side and said that to her which I found to be kind of weird, so I don't even know if they know that in universe, and I could be wrong but that was just like always my interpretation after watching this episode as many times as I have, so that's my head canon or my opinion on the cat episode is that the cat Rachel buys that's $1000, is actually and $1000 pillow plus a cat and she could've Just taken it and then given the cat back or even sold the pillow without the cat and she would've made back the money really easily but the fact that she didn't think of that is what makes it funny I think, but it's also what makes it really annoying and kind of shows that Rachel can be kind of dimwitted or clueless sometimes, like the fact that that didn't click in her head I find really funny because that has to be what it is right like, I think we're all pretty much in agreement that it has to be the pillow not the cat right that costed the thousand dollars?that's my opinion on the episode and the situation and I just kept wanting to scream at Rachel and say it's the pillow sweetie not the cat. But I guess that's what makes Rachel such an iconic character is that she can be kind of daft at times or kind of just miss those little very obvious hence that explains certain situations better and that's why I think it has to be the pillow not the cat the whole time and that does make it funnier but you also kind of feel a bit bad for Rachel for not realising, but yeah I don't know I think Rachel's always been a little bit Clueless or dimwitted sometimes, you don't see it as much because Joey is kind of an idiot but I think Rachel is probably not the smartest one in the group either and this is a really good example of that, showing that yeah she paid $1000 for a cat when the cat was probably only like 60 and The rest of the money was for the pillow most likely or like it was $1000 pillow because it was like so special, I don't know if it's just me but I feel like it would make sense for the pillow to be like really special because it's old and probably was expensive to make so I don't know that's just my personal opinion on that, it makes it funny but also makes it sad that Rachel didn't realise it was probably the pillow all along and she just sold it instead of selling the cat then she would've been able to get her money back probably a lot faster, just realised that it was probably the pillow she paid the thousand dollars for all along and the cat came with it, which again is really weird because why? Like where did she get this cat from, did whoever it belong to the pillow with it because like I said I still stand by the fact that it was the pillow all along and not the cat like the cat was probably free and the pillow was the thousand dollars and the cat just came with the pillow for some reason and then she kept trying to sell the cat with the pillow instead of just selling the pillow or selling the cat like that always really really confused me about whatever, I'd love to hear your thoughts on if you agree with me on this or not, it's always been something that bothered me watching the show, Rachel is a great character but she can sometimes be a little dumb at certain times and I think this is a great example of one of those times, being $1000 for a cat versus $1000 for a pillow which one is it more likely to be my money is on the pillow.
