    I fixed mine diffrent way. I just put my supercap into distilled water for some time and it is working fine right now. Before it was showing 0V even when i charged it. It was dry so by dipping it in water it take moisture. Dont use salt water because it will short your cap and u will end in lower capacity.

    What about drilling a small hole at the center top and sock it in water upside down. When it done, seal the top with heat proof silicon paste.

    As a result of my attempts, this is useless. The experiment was conducted by adding 2ml of salt water to four 1500F capacitors, up to 8ml. It was a square supercapacitor with a cap to put an electrolyte.
    The voltage was 0V to 0.2V, and it was a used product that exceeded 12V as soon as charging started. It seemed normal for a while after charging salt water, but the charged amout came out about one-fifth of the normal one, and as soon as it was recharged, the voltage rose steeply. The capacitor, which was in the most improved condition, was unable to continue charging due to a slight fever during charging. The maximum charging capacity was also 120mah, but the discharge was 17 mah. The normal product is charged about 800mah(0.7V~2.7V charging condition). Give me back my three days.

      What Is Islam?
      Islam is not just another religion.
      It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham.
      Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God.
      It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone.
      It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine.
      The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as:
      { “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4)
      Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus.
      Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him

A pinch o I crack myself up with my salty jokes. I appreciate your comment, of course the fluid inside a cap before it bleeds is not salt heh heh. It's true the original stuff is much better. But if you are in a pinch, are you going to be able to go to the store and get the right goop? Nah it ain't happening. Both American tech and electroboom are correct. So thanks a lot for sharing

    • @hotpeppersrcool
      @hotpeppersrcool 5 лет назад +2

      Electroboom did that and found out that saltwater was a horrible conductor. His "supercap" had an ESR of KILOohms instead on milliohms. Plus, this guy had no capacitance meter to show if afterward it was truly 500F again... Older meters don't get anywhere near that high. The only kudos that I can give is that he slowly increased the voltage while reforming it. Most peeps do that way too fast and it doesn't work.

Its not a hundred percent fix grab a grip in reality. Some old circuitry, suppose a commodore 64, needs a cap repair if ANY sort to keep the circuitry going, and guess what here is a temporary band aid, a donut spare tire if you will, while you await the replacement part. I wish I thought of it myself I should have I have the training to know that. Its why I stand up for thus channel against false accusers this show does fakeness.
