Yeah nice paint. The factory paint on these is all over the place in terms of colour matching, finish and overall quality. No better than a Micra of the day tbh.
immaculate restoration. better than new! I'm glad Nissan makes all the OEM parts available still for us enthusiasts. I have a black 34 gtr vspec 2 myself here in Australia and I'm envious of the blue. enjoy the car for life mate!

Chodius Maximus hey man, I got the car in 08 when the yen was 100 to the Australian dollar; the car was 4.3million yen plus all taxes, shipping and compliance. all up it was 67k aud. you can buy a basic gtr for cheaper but the vspec 2, NUR and m-spec are going up in value, especially unmodified examples with log books. R32 and 33 gtrs are great value but again prices have a massive gap from a fixer-upper to unmolested examples and even the 100 made Australian edition r32's sold for racing eligibility; actually where the Godzilla nickname was from its domination in Bathurst. regards mate.
How much was the entire project cost? and if you build it in the usa does that mean it can be street legal?
bizzle no Gtr unless R33 can be legal in the Us bud sorry to burst your bubble doesnt matter what you do to it. Unless show and display and track only registration which both is only 3 or 4000 miles a year on roads. Plus nobody insures these or takes loans out on them because there not suppose to be here anyways and its a risk so in other words got to wait until the car is 25 years old

There's something about this particular r34, this things is just absolutely gorgeous.
This must of costed you more than to build the car instead of buying one built already. Fair play on putting in the hours, i myself could never be that paitent. Work looks top notch and the interior doesnt look all that bad

The interior is maybe a little bit to red(dashboard storage)+ mid console(arm rest)
But common guys! The fact that this dude made a Full R34 brand new is amazing! Why does almost everyone have to say what they don't like! (TELL THIS DUDE WHAT YOU LIKE ABOUT THE CAR!)

I appreciate the time and effort you put into restoring the car. It looks like you spent a lot of time getting everything back to new or better than new condition. I will say though I am not a fan of the interior. It looks very tacky and out of place. It definitely does not compliment the car's beautiful exterior. But this is your car. Build it however which way you want. I'm just glad there is a nice looking (exterior wise) GT-R out there. :)

Have never been this jealous of someone before. Not just the car but the knowledge to be able to actually restore a legendary car. And I would love to have that interior in a r34. Dream car, but for now I will stay with my supra until I have money to buy one if I ever will haha.

this interior would fit a lowrider but not a tuner car . did not realize that it was a comparison photo of similar set of seats in a lambo it still looks hideous though
ok it was a mistake i didn't notice the nismo badges on the actual seats . To be honest i might have skip that part of the video . It still looks stupid though why ruin a r34 with seats like that it would make more sense to put those type of seats only fit the style luxury car or lowrider and the trim on the dash looks like something you would see on a lowrider doesnt fit the tuner style. No one buys a r34 to make it comfortable it meant to be driven as a sports car

The R34 GTR is a technological masterpiece, its my favorite car of all time. I wish i could have one 1 day at 34 years old... there is still time i guess. Amazing video!
The fact that these songs are playing in 2017 kind've suggests that this build took a fucking long time or the guy who made it is like 40+.

omg thats gorgeous ...I had sister skylines...95 R33 gtst 770hp (had a swapped rb26 with rb25 tranny....96 R33 gtr completely original...before the haters hit...I had the gtst for 5 years and was built from the ground up...the gtr I just bought when the gtst was done...sold them both before I started on the gtr

because of all the hate about the interior: it really looks good and is properly done but it just doesn't fit a laguna blue hardcore sports car like the GTR. but same goes for the tires in my opinion. to thick and doesn't make the width of the front ones the car worse at handling? still in the end, it will always be a beautiful car, how long did it take you (work hours)???

Beautiful job. Well done. The blue looks so good. I even made it my phone background. I will own one next to yours one day. How hard was it to install the rear steering system? The wheels in the back turn on the GTRs during sharp turns.

Awesome job on the restore. People who haven't done this themselves have no idea the amount of work it takes to do a job like this between stripping, bodywork, masking for paint, etc. I've done a restore like this on my car, but not to the extent of stripping/painting the interior or pulling out the glass and the hours it takes is crazy if you want to do it right. As for the interior, if you like it, that's all that matters. If it was my car, and I had your seats, I would have left the dash, center console,e-brake and shifter boot oem black, but do the red stitching on the center console armest, e-brake/shifter boot to compliment the seats and also red stitching on the door panels as well. Suede dashboards are a good option for left hand drive conversions as you have to chop up the oem dash and cover-up the work.
