I too just went thru the hell of installing this on a ‘23 Revel same problems as you, hats off to you two for sticking with it and getting it done, what a pain in the butt for the amount of money you pay and the lack of information they give for what should be a simple install. I didn’t like the fact that if the microwave stops working you have all that double face tape to deal with to get it out so I put the face panel on with self tapping screws painted black. Also the hold down bracket to hold the micro on the tray was too long pulling down on it it hit the bottom of the cabinet before it put any pressure on the microwave and left a 1/8” gap between the two so had to glue some dense foam to the bracket which also keeps metal to metal contact from causing a rattle.Customer service absolutely sucked some guy named Keith who knew nothing about the installation and who wouldn’t let you talk to a install person but I could email pics and they will get back to you.😂🤣
That was one of the hardest things we did and we’ve had to replace our fuel pump on the diesel heater! Whitney luckily did some research before we bought it and saw the first install video were they talk about the maybe having the issue with the cabinet backing. But the new video didn’t talk about it we let them know that, but that was the biggest test of patience ever! Totally get it with the face plate, we just have a whole new roll of 3m now lol We all have a new level of vanlife because we tackled this install! Thanks for watching! 🙏🏻
