- Demonstrations over the war in Gaza are growing on college campuses across the country. Columbia University students are digging in for their 10th day of demonstrations after the school retreated from its midnight deadline to break up an encampment. CBS News Boston reporter Penny Kmitt reports from Northeastern University where another encampment has been built as part of protests there.

It's "Anti-Genocide", not "Pro Palestine" - Media's games with words.
Gandhi and Martin Luther King will be shaking their heads.
Vietnam War protests, Civil rights protests and MLK were treated in a similar way in corrupt media and among the powerful 👏
Yep, they would be deeply ashamed how protestors are treated and covered.
@@BridgeTROLL777lol
You nailed it.
Columbia....showing just how soft this country has become.
This country is also showing how violent it is to protests it doesn't agree with.
College Brats have no clue
You clearly have no clue about the genocide in Gaza over the past 6 months.
There is no genocide. @@lemarbruun5817
@@lemarbruun5817You clearly have no idea that Hamas was voted into power in Gaza...
@@JesusIsKingOfKings-yj4xf You clearly have no idea that there is NEVER any moral or legal justification for the crime of genocide. EVER.
@@lemarbruun5817 So you think that I am pro-genocide just because I am defending the state of Israel? If that is the case then why all of the Jewish hate? You guys are being antisemitic.
Where were you guys while the Kurdish people were being genocided and treated as second class citizens?
What are you protesting about so that you had to get involved it was none of your business
ICC considering issuing arrest warrants for Netanyahu and others.
Why, Netanyahu? He's a democratically elected leader. Why not call for the arrest warrants of the Hamas government? If you knew anything about the ME you'd know a two-state solution has been tried and has failed - Hamas could end this war by returning the hostages but It's unlikely many of them are still alive!
? What are they protesting for again 😂
Anti ongoing genocide, bud
Since no one is taking any ACTION, but merely TALK endlessly ... the top universities are in ACTION - these are the future heroes of the country - instead of sitting ducks!
This is where populists and progressives can unite
Stop the genocide in Gaza & stop all foreign aid! Secure our own borders.
You don’t negotiate with terrorists. Palestine did the same to Israel. You go on a private property and then asked for right and negotiate this is technique and then next using children in the podcast
Manny what are you talking about?
Arrest, convict and deport all non college students.
And expel the college students
Palestinians danced in the streets on 9/11. NO SYMPATHY for them.
And don't forget Israelis
It's a very simple solution to this encampments issue;
1) All protesters must be from Columbia. No outsiders should be allowed on campus grounds for protesting purposes. There should be security checkpoints at all entrances to ensure this is followed.
2) No protesters should be allowed to wear masks. That way, everyone is responsible for the things they say and the signs they hold. They can't cower behind anonymity to spread hatred.
3)Protests will be held at designated times on designated days at a designated space. For e.g, Friday-Sunday between 4pm-8pm. That way, they don't interfere with the students who are focused on their studies, as they should be.
4) Failure to adhere to these rules should result in fines at the minimum and expulsion at the maximum depending on the severity of the rule breach.
Sounds Zionist
I thought the Manson Family was busted up in 69.
Someone remind Mitch about 1/6
Here are 5 peace proposals that the Zionists and then Israel was ready to accept to end the conflict, but Arabs /Palestinians rejected:
1) 1937 Peel Commission
2) 1947 UN Partition Plan
3) 1968 Allon Plan
4) 2000 Camp David Summit
5) 2008 Olmert - Abbas proposal
Much love and support for Israel 🇮🇱
Just like the crackdowns in Tiananmen Square.
Call in the National Guard? Yea, because that worked so well during the Vietnam War student protests at Kent State University in 1970.
Totally different situation…
@hutchfutbol7 No, not really. I remember watching it live. The national guard needs to be left out of this.
@@Temporal_Assassin A military conflict where a draft was initiated and our own people/troops were sent over for fear of the spread of Communism. It’s a bit of a different scenario.
@@Temporal_Assassin these people protesting haven’t been verified as U.S. citizens and are actively supporting a terrorist organization…
Vietnam was a military conflict where we had a draft and sent our own civilians/troops over for fear of the spread of communism.
