Posh were once relegated from The Championship with 54 points, a record at that time and maybe since. Can the players we’ve brought in adequately replace the quality defenders we lost to Southampton, Sheffield U and Hannover 96? Anything is possible at Posh and so I hope that we’ll be pushing for promotion come the end of the season - automatic promotion!
Crazy numbers isn’t it 54 points for a relegation side.
I think Posh will be up there, they always seem to have the next man up and ready before one leaves. Burrows, Edwards and Knight are massive losses but if anyone can replace them it’s posh!
@@Lewis_Everett that season in the championship where Peterborough went down was wacky, apart for Bristol city going down with 41, Wolves also went down with 51 POINTS. Also the same season where that iconic Deeney goal happened.
Birmingham finished 22nd not 23rd
