Whats crazy is, as far as I know, this is the first time we've gotten Barry Allen, Wally West, Jay Garrick, Wallace West,and Bart Allen in the same line from the same company. Mattel almost did but they never gave us Impulse.
I always felt bad for the first Batwing. He was far more unique than Luke Fox who just ended up being another Bat character in Gotham. He was the Batman of Africa. But I guess people couldnt connect with him or whatever so he got a kicked to the curb pretty early on.
So glad that someone else recognized this! The 1st couple of arcs written by Judd Winick were great. The art was outstanding throughout David Zavimbe’s storyline, but especially during the 1st arc drawn by Ben Oliver - the character looked terrific! and I believe he even has a different costume in the beginning of the first arc *from what I remember anyway & from looking at that first cover issue* But this is still a good looking figure & I’m glad McFarlane paid homage to an underrated character. I like Luke Fox, but to me it was pretty clear that they wanted an “Iron Man” type character in Gotham as part of the immediate Bat-family - which is cool too - so that’s why they brought him in instead. It kinda makes sense.
Brad I don’t know if it’s the lighting, like a reflection of something blue, but in-video, the upper right side of Batman Does look blue. Like a blue sheen or something
I think Batman is always wearing a bulletproof helmet under his cowl. That's why all of his figures are taller than Superman. Could you find as many Supermen figures that "are" actually taller than it's manufacturer's batman counterpart?
I know Bart was very young when she first appear but isn't he supposed to be in the same age range as Conner Kent Superboy and Tim Drake Robin? So I know Dc continuity after new 52 and further reboots is all over the place but I think that's okay if Conner,Tim and Bart are in their 20s now, so I don't have a problem with height and build. What I did notice is the reds in his suit aren't uniform, so that bothers me, and the lack of extra hands. Two-Face Batman is part of Todd's effort of doing every single version of Batman under the sun which I get it it's probably good for the business, even if it's not even a real character, is still more faithful to their comics than how we got sort of made up versions of Batman and the rest for the lines figures on the 90s. I just wish he would do more of the elseworlds Batman like you did with "speeding bullets "which is one of my favorite figures ever. Like "Holy Terror Batman", "Gotham by Gaslight", Nevermore Batman , Leatherwing Batman, RedSon Batman. I really love the creativity of the Elseworlds comics
Yo it would've been great if they had retooled the Damian Wayne body mold for Bart. Also it's pretty disappointing that DC Multiverse released two Ted Kord Blue Beetles without actual goggles. It'd be pretty cool to use the Flashpoint Superman's head for a Connor Kent or Superboy Prime figure. I WANT EVERY NEW SUPERMAN FIGURE TO USE THE PAGE PUNCHERS SUPERMAN BODY MOLD!!
"He only ever appeared on the cover of one issue!" So we needed an action figure, clearly. :\ I know, I know, repaints, blah blah blah. Hey, maybe people buying this will fund an accurate Action Comics #1 figure...
How hard is it to find art work that matches the figure, I don’t care that Todd adds his own little touches to figures but for example if you sell me a new 52 Static put new 52 Static on the card and box

MacFarlane has consistently improved his figures since getting the contract,so no complaints there,keep it up Todd ?
My Walmarts just reset their toy aisles, so I’m hoping to find Vampire Superman soon!
