Stop. Living in modern day is much better than past in terms of how available music is. You just open browser(pretty much anywhere with smartphones and laptops), go to distribution site/software of your choice and start listening for FREE. During 90s and early 2000 that's not how things worked. You had to get physical vinyl/CD/cassette and listen, and humankind forbid if you tried to find something that wasn't very mainstream.

+Deniz Adamus new doesnt even look like they even know what trance is. now everything is just big bass and mainstream melodies and synths. nothing that has been put much backstory or heart in to.

+Hugo Hakvoort i guess you could call it progressive trance. most of the really old classics are hardtrance or acid trance (dont mock me if im wrong ;P) just look at songs like "sambo - mezmerize" or "electric universe - freedom". they are fairly new and just as awesome as the old classics (too bad i wasnt old enough back then)
With exeption of the first track, it's a wonderfull journey back into the early 90's. What great times we had in places like E-Werk, Tresor and of course SO36 every Monday at the Electric Ballroom...sighs .... :)

Progressive trance tracks are still true to their legacy, you just have to look a little harder. We're in an age of hybrid electronic music - genres & sub-genres just aren't clearly delineated and we really have to go into everything with an open mind to find what we love... sort of just what the ethos of trance music was at its inception.
