  • Injection molding is the supreme discipline of high-precision plastics processing. In Pforzheim in southern Germany, the family-owned company Hauff has completely automated the production of upper basket rollers for dishwashers. KUKA robots play the intelligent double pass with a specially configured, multifunctional production cube.
Molding and assembly take place in a fully automated process that Hauff set up together with ARBURG, the manufacturer of injection molding machines. Especially for Hauff's special requirements, FOBOHA had configured the "Cube" that combines the production of two components with their assembly. The conveyor connects the production cell with the packaging and palletizing cell from robomotion, where a KR QUANTEC PA, one of the fastest palletizers on the market, is doing duty. Three pallets, each containing 45 cartons and 70,200 rolls of plastic, leave the plant every day.
