I never get bored of listening such a magnificent performance of Etude No. 7. I get inspired with guitarists like you, And many others that are found in RUclips. Thank you for sharing your skills and knowledge Toward us. Greetings From Venezuela
One of the difficult aspects of this study is to get the flow right. You have done an excellent job of that. Tying together the bars and measures that seem to contrast in the hands of the less skilled player. Thanks to you and RUclips, players like myself can get a feeling for what to work on with regards to finesse and feeling. Thank you for this piece and the others you have published.
I loved it. I just learned this etude and performed for my jury last semester but I still need to increase the speed. Since I heard it for first time I fell in love with it. I’ll keep working on it to be able to perform as amazingly as you do it. Thanks for your video it’s awesome!
Hi Jonas - I often return to this etude as a benchmark for my own progress (for speed, fluidity, musicality). Of all the versions I’ve listened to - faster or slower - and by some of the finest players - yours is still my favorite, and my #1 pick. You strike such a great balance between speed and musicality. You take it way beyond being merely an etude and make it a musical and dramatic piece of music. Great dynamics, and so well done! Keep up the great work and best regards from Detroit!
i remember my first Spanish guitar lesson. I had no knowledge about this kind of music thechnique and so on. And this was my first lesson. He gave me this song to learn
Hello, Jonas ! Just want to say to you a HUGE thanks for sharing us all your work , I can't even describe how i love this channel , keep it up ! P.S. :) I have learned already a few of your covers , ones again , Thank You and Regards.
Wow !!! Beautiful rendition of this !!! Played so perfectly !! I love how you slow down near the end of some sections !! This is the best version I have heard of this !! Inspiring as a guitar player.
No pensé que podía sonar así ese estudio. Me diste ganas de mejorar mi interpretación para mi clase de guitarra. Lo venía practicando sin ganas. Gracias !
Just began on this piece myself a few days ago. Great to hear your version. You are always a good source of inspiration, keep it up :-) Ps. en venlig hilsen fra Danmark
FANTASTIC!! I just recently learned this piece, but I'm not up to this tempo yet (at the bottom end of allegro). Excellent sound and phrasing, Mr. Lefvert!!
I also play this piece but not nearly as fast and I still have trouble with it. It's from a book called "Classical Studies for Pick- Style Guitar" by William Leavitt. In that book it is entitled "Allegro".
Cici Santos it’s not quite tremelo because tremelo is when u play it so fast, it sounds like one elongated noted, but this is just simple alternation. He uses his ring, middle and index (or a, m, and i) finger to play the same string 3 times in a row so it goes thumb ring middle index thumb ring middle index
Dang, man! I'm a beginner ish player, trying to learn this piece. I can play it slow except that darn barre chord. I keep working! Three times a practice session with the metronome, a little faster each time I catch up on the barre chord. Your playing of this piece is a goal to shoot for. Best wishes and thanks for sharing!

yeah it´s kind of contrary movements of fingers, makes you really concentrate in your right hand flow
One of the better interpretations I've heard on 'youtube land' of that Carcassi study. Beautiful, and powerful performance. Great job.
most people on youtube play this too fast, drains the fun right out of it. Thanks for the upload!

One of the songs I learned a year into classical guitar study. Deceptively difficult. Your playing is, as always refined and excellent.
Martin Hyatt Facts. The music sheet has repetitive parts but nailing down the speed, accuracy, and dynamics is another challenge in itself.
my favorite Carcassi piece (Study) and a must learn for any classical guitar player.
Thank you very much! :)

2:16 what song
This is so hard to play.
Does anyone have tipps on how to pic a string fast multiple times like here in this song? Is there a name for this technique?
Nokpest11 Trémolo (in spanish) it's when you play the same note repeatedly with the same duration and dynamic.
Ah i see. Thank you!

Can you make a video of playing Andante by Napoleon Coste? (in d-minor)
Because of you I can now play this song as good as you :)
Great to hear! :)
This is why I play electric rock guitar. I can’t be this precise. 🤣
😂
I have no problem with stuff like this but electric lead guitar will be the death of me 😭😭😭 wanna trade?
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
