One of my favorite interactions with Jeff was at his concert in Atlanta, December 4th 2021. Me and two of my friends went to go see the show and so far Oceanator had torn the roof off the place. Then Slaughter Beach, Dog came on stage. Me and one of the friends I was with were huge MOBO fans and we were excited to see what Jake and Ian were up to. As we were enjoying SBD’s set, we very clearly saw Jeff leaning over the balcony overlooking the stage trying to kinda hide himself from view. My friend then pulled out his phone, went into Snapchat and typed a big “HI JEFF” and pointed the screen in Jeff’s direction. I waved at him laughing and he just started laughing and doing the “no no no not yet” motion so we laughed and put the phone down. Good times
I will never get over how far Jeff went by doing it his own way. I remember finding Jeff during the Bomb! years, playing guitar with only an ipod for all the other tracks and blowing the roof off of the local punk venue in my area (a log cabin of all places). I followed him through Bomb and beyond. I remember when he opened for a bigger band, after We Cool? came out, in a much bigger than a log cabin venue, there was not many people around him so I went up to express how crazy it was to see him play a venue like this, bringing up bands that he played with at that log cabin. Jeff being Jeff, also expressed amazement at his circumstances. And then to see him get more popular over the years to the point where people only know him as Jeff Rosenstock not Jeff from Bomb! I was (and am) weirdly proud of him, since all I did was support him. Glad to see Jeff have continued success because he deserves it, and more.
I wanted to buy one of his cd’s and I was really stuck between NO DREAM and Hellmode but when I think about it, WORRY. is just perfect, there are no skips each time you put it on you have to finish it through
"I'm only 20"... revisit these albums when you hit 30. if Worry and and We Cool? hit you at 20, they are easily going to resonate again in future years. Cheers on a great video.
I've been listening to the genius of Jeff Rosenstock for over 20 years! I saw his first band (ASOB) randomly in my hometown when I was 12-13. I knew even then that he was a legend. When I discovered Quote Unquote Records and ALL of the music for free, I downloaded all of them into a little MP3 player. That was a time to be alive! Also, Super Rad to learn the younger generations are keeping the Spirit of Ska/Punk alive!!!
i had no idea who jeff rosenstock was before stumbling into this video but i'm so glad to have found it. nothing more exciting than hearing a true enthusiast of a genre and subculture breaking down the works and ideas that fascinate them about it. just saved 'worry' to my spotify library and can't wait to dig in.
38:13 I’m the account that uploaded the Nirvana and Radiohead bootlegs. It was funny to see the shitty cover art I devised for the Nirvana bootleg in your video. I made it so brazen to catch peoples eyes as a Nirvana ska tribute. At the time eight years ago I didn’t think people would care to listen because of it being ASOBs but would as a ska/Nirvana novelty. Obviously Jeff only got bigger over the last eight years. Also the Radiohead bootleg was released officially in some capacity online, so that’s the actual cover art. But the Nirvana show I nabbed off Kraytracker in early 2010s was an actual boot and had no artwork. I only uploaded it (along with everything on my channel) so I could listen online to it easily.
Thank you for uploading those. The Radiohead show has some amazing covers of those songs. You did all of us old ska punk fans a big service when you uploaded those. My personal fav on that is Fake Plastic Trees, but I love the cover of Creep from ASOB’s full discography album that had 2 live shows from the Downtown on it (that’s where Creep is).
I discovered Jeff earlier this year (2024) after being recommend Worry. This album hit me like a ton of bricks and I think it came at the perfect time in my life, as I don’t think I would have been ready to fully appreciate this album before now. I just happen to be the same age now that Jeff was when he released Worry and the themes he sings and writes about are more relevant now than ever. I have absolutely devoured his solo discography and am starting to scratch the surface on BTMI. This man has quickly become one of my all time favorite artists. Great video. Happy to be finally be here.
I started listening to Jeff's music in 2005, when I was 18 years old and here we are 18 years later (I am definitely one of the ageing millennials described in We Cool/Worry). It's been a wild ride and it's amazing how well you've captured his entire career in this video, given you would have been about 2 years old back when Album Minus Band released. Props to you, mate! You nailed understanding and describing the lyrical content of We Cool and Worry and why it means so much to my generation; A generation constantly made to feel like we will always be children due to so many factors stacked against us, and not having the opportunities for stability that our parents had. The constant scramble (and failure) to achieve the life of luxury many of us grew up in and around forced us to put emphasis on the importance of the people around us that we loved and value every friendship and connection we made with others. The almost 'found family' feeling of late BTMI embodies this so well. I'm really pleased this stuff resonates with you.
Watching this and Im at 8:30 where you discuss age. I suppose I felt those same things at your age, but as I reach 50, I know more now than I ever have. You havent even begun to learn cool yet man. Just keep on educating yourself, and every day you will be cooler and cooler. It never ends.
So he released his new album and, despite not even being familiar with his discography, it quickly became my favorite 2023 album. Guess now I have homework to do
I have been waiting for someone to make a long-form video on Jeff for so long!! This is so great, I'm also a huge 20 year old Jeff fan it's nice to know more of us exist lmaoo
As a 19 year old fan, his music is incredible at capturing that feeling of being young and loving pop punk while still acknowledging that you have to grow up. Nice to see other people loving this music as well!
Just did the maths, I’ve been listening to Jeff for close to 19years… that’s almost half my life… I’ve had this video in the ‘watch later’ list for a while, I’ve bit hesitant to watch it, probably because the memories and emotions it would bring up, now here I am at 1am and (not) quite a few in awake and thinking about that time btmi covered little boxes for Weeds season 8 episode six…. Great job on the video!
I'm 5 minutes into this video and already in tears over your description of WORRY. It's one of the most touching pieces of art I've ever experienced. "The highs and low of loving someone under late capitalism", that's exactly it. This album is about being faced with the horrors of capitalism and choosing love and hope over cynicism and doom in spite of it all. It may be my favourite album of all time. I can't listen to it without turning into a sobbing mess.
WORRY changed my life. I never even enjoyed that type of music prior, but the cover art won me over so I gave it a try after years of putting it off. the themes and emotion that gets jam packed into these tight, hard hitting earworms changed everything. I don’t understand how anyone could see it as anything less than superb.
three cheers for disappointment is an all time classic imo. i consider it the definitive third-wave ska-punk album, at least as far as like the specific sort of scene/subgenre Jeff is working within goes. it's just a perfect expression of the angst of that specific place, time, age, all of it.
having seen Jeff on the last leg of the farewell BTMI! tour, his first solo tour pre-we cool?, and all throughout his stint touring cycle of every release since - it’s been an incredible sight to see and experience his and his band mates growth and I am incredibly proud as a fan standing front row and center, this was beautifully done and very well written - bravo! thank you for this!
amazing video... no eastern coast mention #Nooticing (in all honesty though I thank you a lot for this video LMAO i love jeff rosenstock and i always love finding new shit. my musical backlog is boutta be PACKED)
HA! I knew I was going to see you in the comments. It's really sweet knowing a person from online actually listened to me. I don't tend to comment much but sometimes it feels really damn rewarding when something like this happens. Anyway, I wish you great days ahead and a still thriving love for Jeff Rosenstock. Rock on friend! Yeah. :)
Yes dude!! Fantastic video! I saw Jeff perform We Begged to Explode and everyone in the crowd went from moshing to sobbing. Best show I’ve ever been to.
so glad you gave love to Shinobu!! San Jose diy legends!! and Mike now plays guitar in the Jeff band so it feels very appropriate. the clip at 47:30 is from 1 of 2 record release shows they had for 10 Thermidor, one of the openers was a band called The Snowcones who ended up actually just being Joyce Manor in secret (because of a radius clause i think). great video, already way into Jeff/Bomb but this is such a good primer and motivation to dig deeper into his catalog.
its ironic that the song that jeff has released that has made me tear up the most comes from three cheers of dissapointment. last on my list is a genuinely heartbreaking song if you pay attention to the lyrics
Holy shit I love you so much. You legit made me cry at around the 6:00 mark talking about interpersonal relationships and the themes of worry. God damn. You’re spot on and Worry might be my #1 favorite album of all time as well.
I've watched this video more times than I can count lately because I keep getting distracted and going off to find these albums. Thank you for an absolutely amazing insight into Jeff's back catalogue!
at this point, you should just make a top 100 or 50 albums list. I can't get enough of hearing you talk about your favorite albums, and you've gotten me into every artist you've talked about liking so far (except death grips and ween who i already enjoyed). jeff rosenstock is a fucking gem and i'm obsessed with his music now, same goes for mastodon, cacola, gsy!be, bjork and a bunch of other people you introduced me to. you're doing some great stuff on this channel : )
thank you algorithm for this video rec 🙏 ive met jeff a couple of times now at shows and hes such a genuine guy, you can really tell hes the kind of person who cares about the shit he talks about in his music in a real way
I found Jeff right when he started his solo stuff and was touring with AJJ in 2012 and I'm so glad I went to that show because he's consistently been one of my favorite artists since then. And it sounds super corny but his music always made complete sense with how I was feeling and honestly I couldn't imagine what I would be without it.
I first saw Jeff in ASOB at a local show in 2002. On a whim I bought their CD and I've been following him ever since. It feels good to see an artist you've loved and championed for over 20 years finally get the recognition they deserve.
8 minutes into the video. yeah coming to terms with getting older is a new thing for myself, I resonated with that part of the video. Jeff Rosenstock speaks very well for me and many more!
BTMI introduced me into the world of diy music, going to basement shows and realizing that I'm not the only one who struggles with things I thought should be embarrassing. His music literally changed how I live my life. I literally didn't ever have friends or leave my room until I discovered underground music. I would have been a depressed recluse if not for this music.
Album minus band became one of my favorite rock and punk rock albums of all time in the span of a few days. And it’s actually how I got really into Bomb after hearing a few of their songs. I think it gives me a better appreciation for Scrambles and Adults, which I think are also top tier Jeff entries.
Enjoying watching this in early January 2025 - revisiting (once again) how amazing 'Worry' is feels like it's making me feel genuinely excited about music and life on a wider level on a gloomy January evening.
This is great! I just watched the AV Undercover set they did with AJJ and i was wondering why the hell dont i get into jeff rosenstock. The reason is he has 19473792 albums loo
I absolutely agree with your observations regarding Worry v. We Cool. I am currently 40, but discovered Jeff Rosenstock at the age of 35 and We Cool really hit a nerve for me. Don't get me wrong, I love Worry, but We Cool with its lyrics about coming to terms with aging and realizing you maybe aren't where you want to be (or where society expects you to be) in life was really powerful and made feel like I wasn't alone in that struggle.
Great job on this video. I've been a fan of Jeff half of my life now (I'm 33). He's consistently been my favorite musician and songwriter for most of the time too
When I was 16, I related so hard to ASOB lyrics on every level. I am lucky that Jeff is my senior by like 6 years because he has always released the perfect record for where I'm at in life right in time.
also 100% agree that 3 cheers is the best ska punk record to date. at the very least it has the most chaotic energy and pushes the familiar elements of the involved genres to their full potential, allowing jeff to move on musically afterwards knowing that he left his mark on ska by thoroughly anchoring ska’s relevance to in the modern pop punk landscape. and jeff has always returned to ska to make sure nobody has forgotten how good it can be. Adults was a big ska hoorah before the indie shift with vacation and then ska dream came out at the perfect time to inject fun into a fucked up world
I saw Jeff at a house show in wisconsin and it was an amazing show, but the house was so small that not everyone could get in, so Jeff said he would just do the whole show twice 😂. He played the entire show, then we rotated everyone out of the house and brought in the next wave so he could do the whole show again. I was in the first show so I didn’t want to take up space at the second show, but I have to assume he did the whole show a second time. LEGEND! He was also hanging out talking to everyone in line and was such a chill dude. My friend got me into him with btmi and I fell in love with his solo stuff immediately. GOAT
His music really resonated with me in highschool. Almost turning thirty and it has felt really good to get back into his music. All of his failures remind me of my failures, but it's so comforting to know I am not alone. Some of my favorite albums that he worked on are: Get Warmer, Scrambles, Vacation, I'm So Tethered, We Cool? (This one really resonates with me. I'm Serious I'm Sorry makes me cry everytime.), and I Look Like Shit. BTMI! is probably one of my favorite bands of all time. I am really glad that I have had his music in my life.
I had a friend who was listening to BTMI back when they were still a band, and I just couldn't get into it. However, when We Cool? Came out and the production value became just polished enough to give it a touch of pop edge, I got hooked to his music and have been a huge fan since 2015.
I saw Arrogant Sons of Bitches at a side stage on Warped Tour 2003 and bought their EP "All the Little Ones are Rotting." I got hooked on them and then years later found Bomb the Music Industry. I was at a Less than Jake show a few years ago and Jeff opened and I said to my friend "This guy sounds like ASOB's singer" only to realize it was him. I love all of the stuff of his I've heard and have gone down the rabbit hole of his discography.
I've been looking to get into Jeff Rosenstock's music bc I see him recommended a lot by other PUP fans, it was cool to see The Dream is Over make an appearance in the vid!
@@itsboundo. That's so cool!! I hope they'll tour close enough to my country in Asia so I can see them live 🫡 I started listening to a couple Jeff Rosenstock songs while at work and I see why theyre recommended so much, thank you sm for making the video!
Damn im 21 now, but when i was a freshman, i used to hear WORRY so much. 15, and all the songs slapped. And when I got older, the lyrics really start getting to you and hit so much deeper. I forever will love WORRY amd the rest of Jeff's works.
gotta say this i just stated getting into Jeff R. the last few months from a shuffle on youtube music mix of post punk , and holy shit Worry is amazing ! even my Son that is 11 who is getting into music right now loves it. ! its rad to share this with him !
I had an ex who listened to jeffs music all the time. Always loved nausea and listened to bomb when I didn’t even know it was Jeff, but been two years and I finally listened to all of the album worry and it’s strange to say I feel closer to him now after listening to it all despite never talking to him after breaking up. Thankful that I found Jeff ❤
The only thing I am familiar with that you missed is the Taking Back Sunday cover set that ASOB did. It used to be on myspace, and you can sometimes find some stuff on RUclips. I know I have friends that have the MP3 files.
when I was in high school I had 15+ ASOB live shows recorded straight from the mixing board, including that one. the Long Island scene was crazy back in the day.
There are songs I love on every album he's ever been involved with, but the albums that I love all the way through and keep returning to year after year are Vacation, Worry, and No/Ska Dream. This is kind of weird coming from someone who grew up on ska-punk and even opened for BtMI way back when with one of my own ska-punk bands, but I think Vacation is where he really hit his stride (which to me feels like the first album of his solo phase).
Also I think Party Adjacent by Dan Andriano In The Emergency Room (side project of Alkaline Trio's bassist), which Jeff produced and played bass on, is very much worth listening to
OMG, I could hear you talk about Jeff forever. I want to shout out the song Eastern Coast which was a Summer bonus track! One of my faves. ❤ I kinda wanna do a cover of it.
First saw jeff in '06 play on his iPod. I was a senior in HS and his music has grown up with me. Love Jeff. Not to nit pick, Gold Soundz 7", the rare wedding 7", Big Kisses single, Ska is dead 7", everybody that you love 7" had a great B-side too, I'm so Gross B-side is one of his better songs, and others others vol 1 has some bangers easily available. There was also rumors back in the day of a hardcore 7" BTMI was gonna record but to no avail. I was at the last bomb set and at the thanks sorry recording every night. Seen Jeff play in various versions 40+ times. He is a punk legend. I wasn't alive to see black flag or Op Ivy at gilman but i saw jeff and that means the world to me. GREAT VID 9/10 i'll be watching this stoned on the subway.
It’s funny, I knew he was young when he mentioned mcr like they’re a legendary band (I do like them, but they were at the end of the pop punk movement), again, I like them, but they were my kids band after I’d led a long post punk/emo life. Worry is epically amazing, I love that album
The masterpiece is definetely "I look like shit", that album is just crazy. I found it last in my listening journey, way after Worry and We Cool and Post-, but god damn if does not allow you to feel shit sometimes.
There's a couple of information missing in your video: 1- The 7 Summer EP is not a 2 songs EP, it's a 9 songs EP with the bonus track. I do vividly remember being obsessed with this EP back in the day. Most of the bonus tracks are cover, but let's face it Jeff is the king of covers so for me it's an essential listen. 2- The reasons why Shinobu is credited on the Jeff Rosenstock RYM is because Mike Huguenor (the frontman of Shinobu) plays in Jeff Rosenstock. I do remember reading on Jeff Facebook page back when WORRY came out that Worstward, Ho! was one of his favorite record. So it's no suprise that Mike ended up becoming a member of Jeff Rosenstock, it shows that Mike had a lot of influence on Jeff guitar work. Also, you youngin are sleeping way too much on Mike Huguenor in general, whether it's with Classics Of Love or Hard Girl (especially), Mikes work is essential for any Jeff fan in my opinion. 3- Jeff as played and produced a lot of records. For example he did a lot of instrument in some of the earlier AJJ record (Can't Maintain comes to mind), so making a list of every record he played in is kind of hard to do, but you did a pretty good job here. Oh and you guy's are sleeping on Pornocracy like way too HARD. Also Get Warmer is top 3 best Jeff record, the writing is as good as Get Warmer in my opinion.
Yeah man, I was gonna say something about the Get Warmer rating. It's an amazing concept album. I'm honestly biased since it's been my favorite record since the mid 2010's. It's a great record.
Pornocracy is fun. My personal favorite from ASOB (and I’m a long time fan of theirs; I used to drive out to the Downtown or take the train to the Knitting Factory any night I could to see them) is All the Little Ones Are Rotting. It’s short, but it’s got incredible energy from start to finish. I tore it up in many a pit listening to the songs from those ASOB years.
I already know and love Jeff so much. Just dropped in to say thank you for spreading his music. Honestly i havent heard some of his bands so ill def FF to it Edit: Worry is the best. Nailed it right off the bat.
I remember making a cover of “SpongeBoards/Baby Waves/ The Shit That You Hate” for volume 1 of that Album Minus Jeff compilation years ago. Such a fun collection of songs by fans of Jeff’s music, (some very talented musicians too) super grateful it got a shoutout! Definitely check it out if you haven’t already.
If you love Jeff, drop EVERYTHING and listen to the japanese band GING NANG BOYZ (銀杏 BOYZ) first two albums. Jeff does a cover of their song "I don't wanna die" on I Look Like Shit. Listen to their original version and then dive into the most insanely loud, catchy, and rawkus album in Japanese punk.
The way that he's released one of his best albums after this video came out is insane

Every word said about WORRY is just true, it's not even fair how good that album is
I wanted to buy one of his cd’s and I was really stuck between NO DREAM and Hellmode but when I think about it, WORRY. is just perfect, there are no skips each time you put it on you have to finish it through

Was psyched to check this out because I love Jeff. Extra psyched to see my own Pat the Bunny footage at 0:23!
Oh shit that's awesome! Thanks for watching, I love your sessions you have really great taste in acts to platform.
Shinobu has been one of my favorite bands for so long that I actually found Jeff through them instead of the other way around
I'm so glad this video exists!
Also 5:10 for me it's when he sings "Love is worry". Chokes me up every time
So does that mean the album worry actually means love? 🤔
having seen Jeff on the last leg of the farewell BTMI! tour, his first solo tour pre-we cool?, and all throughout his stint touring cycle of every release since - it’s been an incredible sight to see and experience his and his band mates growth and I am incredibly proud as a fan standing front row and center,

I personally prefer Three Cheers for Disappointment over Worry, thats my hot take . Great video lol
its ironic that the song that jeff has released that has made me tear up the most comes from three cheers of dissapointment. last on my list is a genuinely heartbreaking song if you pay attention to the lyrics
Holy shit I love you so much. You legit made me cry at around the 6:00 mark talking about interpersonal relationships and the themes of worry. God damn. You’re spot on and Worry might be my #1 favorite album of all time as well.
Thank you so much for this video jeff is now my favorite artist and now I'm going to one of his concerts and I'm so excited
Such an amazing Artist, everything jeff has done has turned into my favorite music lol
Enjoying watching this in early January 2025 - revisiting (once again) how amazing 'Worry' is feels like it's making me feel genuinely excited about music and life on a wider level on a gloomy January evening.
Nice to see this! I was at a lot of these shows. Got to play with btmi and even got to see kudrow!
I'm so glad you mentioned the Radiohead bootleg, I constantly hear " 'ELLO WE'RE RADIO'EAD FROM GREAT BRI'AIN" in my head
So funny, I was listening to Worry on the way back from work today and now this video comes out. It's one of my favorites as well :)
also 100% agree that 3 cheers is the best ska punk record to date. at the very least it has the most chaotic energy and pushes the familiar elements of the involved genres to their full potential, allowing jeff to move on musically afterwards knowing that he left his mark on ska by thoroughly anchoring ska’s relevance to in the modern pop punk landscape. and jeff has always returned to ska to make sure
nobody has forgotten how good it can be. Adults was a big ska hoorah before the indie shift with vacation and then ska dream came out at the perfect time to inject fun into a fucked up world
Great vid, I'm always happy to see someone like Jeff Rosenstock being talked about
I saw Jeff at a house show in wisconsin and it was an amazing show, but the house was so small that not everyone could get in, so Jeff said he would just do the whole show twice 😂. GOAT
Great video! Looking forward to working through your work, past and future!
I am really glad that I have had his music in my life.
amazing video, jeff changed my life and youve described his work in ways i could never come up with by myself. thank you
I had a friend who was listening to BTMI back when they were still a band, and I just couldn't get into it. However, when We Cool? Came out and the production value became just polished enough to give it a touch of pop edge, I got hooked to his music and have been a huge fan since 2015.
I cried within the first 2 minutes. I love Jeff so much he needs so much more recognition
Welcome back to youtube!
I love the fact you mentioned how you would listen to WORRY. all the time to and from work bc im literally going through that phase rn.
super super happy to see jeff still releasing all of his music up to HELLMODE completely for free!! Still the realest out here !!
You're back holy shit
You know it!
PUP is the band I've seen the most times! One of my favourites
@@itsboundo. That's so cool!! I hope they'll tour close enough to my country in Asia so I can see them live 🫡
I started listening to a couple Jeff Rosenstock songs while at work and I see why theyre recommended so much, thank you sm for making the video!
We need and update with hellmode. I think it's a masterpiece and might be even better than worry!
Damn im 21 now, but when i was a freshman, i used to hear WORRY so much. 15, and all the songs slapped. And when I got older, the lyrics really start getting to you and hit so much deeper. I forever will love WORRY amd the rest of Jeff's works.
Great video dude. i'd love to see you do the late, great Jay Reatard next!!
Just got my spotify wrapped and my top 5 songs were the last 5 songs on the WORRY Medley.
Its been a good year for music for me haha
This is such great vid, commenting for engagement!
gotta say this i just stated getting into Jeff R. the last few months from a shuffle on youtube music mix of post punk , and holy shit Worry is amazing ! even my Son that is 11 who is getting into music right now loves it. ! its rad to share this with him !
Favorite music RUclips channel currently for sure
Really cool video, thank you for uploading
Hey I really like this style of content and how you make it its very mic the snare love it
I had an ex who listened to jeffs music all the time.
But that being said this is an excellent retrospective. Thanks for putting the time in.
when I was in high school I had 15+ ASOB live shows recorded straight from the mixing board, including that one. the Long Island scene was crazy back in the day.
I love randomly meeting Jeff at the bar before shows. An incredibly genuine and nice person
There are songs I love on every album he's ever been involved with, but the albums that I love all the way through and keep returning to year after year are Vacation, Worry, and No/Ska Dream. This is kind of weird coming from someone who grew up on ska-punk and even opened for BtMI way back when with one of my own ska-punk bands, but I think Vacation is where he really hit his stride (which to me feels like the first album of his solo phase).
ive only seen jeff live once and it was the best concert ive ever been
Also I think Party Adjacent by Dan Andriano In The Emergency Room (side project of Alkaline Trio's bassist), which Jeff produced and played bass on, is very much worth listening to
God I remember being 14 and listening to you in weird cities for the first time
jeff has been keeping it real since 1995
OMG, I could hear you talk about Jeff forever.
I wish Jeff would play some Kudrow tracks every now and then. It's my favorite project of his!
seeing the nottingham barrier footage from the show i was at… literally right next to the person who recorded it really gave me a jumpscare
How about that Hellmode though? So good!
your words r legit. just subbed brother
You rekindled my Jeff-love. Man this guy is so amazing. But the dream is over by PUP is not far behind worry for me!
Massive pup fan here! I've seen them 5 times now!
No mention of Big Kisses or Sleep Thru Monday :c
BTMI's cover of Ethopians for Tallahasse Turns Ten too
Jeff is a legend
Pls keep making these
It’s funny, I knew he was young when he mentioned mcr like they’re a legendary band (I do like them, but they were at the end of the pop punk movement), again, I like them, but they were my kids band after I’d led a long post punk/emo life. Worry is epically amazing, I love that album
I can't believe this took ten months to get recommended this
you, in weird cities is so fucking hard
This is so awesome, I love jeff so fucking much
The masterpiece is definetely "I look like shit", that album is just crazy. I found it last in my listening journey, way after Worry and We Cool and Post-, but god damn if does not allow you to feel shit sometimes.
What’s up dude great video! What do you think about hellmode?? It may very well be my favorite
There's a couple of information missing in your video:
1- The 7 Summer EP is not a 2 songs EP, it's a 9 songs EP with the bonus track.
I agree Get Warmer is top 3
I already know and love Jeff so much. Just dropped in to say thank you for spreading his music. Honestly i havent heard some of his bands so ill def FF to it
Edit: Worry is the best. Nailed it right off the bat.
Man I love Darkness Records
I remember making a cover of “SpongeBoards/Baby Waves/ The Shit That You Hate” for volume 1 of that Album Minus Jeff compilation years ago. Such a fun collection of songs by fans of Jeff’s music, (some very talented musicians too) super grateful it got a shoutout! Definitely check it out if you haven’t already.
Where can i find the Built To Fail remaster?
If you love Jeff, drop EVERYTHING and listen to the japanese band GING NANG BOYZ (銀杏 BOYZ) first two albums. Jeff does a cover of their song "I don't wanna die" on I Look Like Shit. Listen to their original version and then dive into the most insanely loud, catchy, and rawkus album in Japanese punk.
Just here to give some love to Dude Get with the Program of To Leave or Die in Long Island
Great video
