Awesome. I haven't heard that song in 30 years. I really enjoy listening to you guys, three piece punk bands have always been a favorite of mine. I was just watching some of your oldest stuff and It's confusing. The videos are from like three years ago, although it feels like yesterday that I saw my first Hawkbirds video, and although Mom and Dad haven't aged, what in the heck happened to Sunflower? Sunflower grew from a little kid into a full sized young adult. It's weird. The same thing happened to my kid. Just the other day he was this little munchkin and now he's full sized, lives two states away and has a live in girlfriend and a dog named blue. Where does the time go?

Hi Michael! 😀 Mom played guitar when she was teenager for a while, and got back into it during Covid. Dad couldn't play an instrument, so he learned to play drums during the lockdown, so he and mom could have something to do together inside. I have always been singing, so it made sense for me to pick up a bass and complete the band! 🎸🎤🎸🥁 Now we can't stop! ...and we have met so many awesome people like you along the way! I was just watching some of your oldest stuff and It's confusing. The videos are from like three years ago, although it feels like yesterday that I saw my first Hawkbirds video, and although Mom and Dad haven't aged, what in the heck happened to Sunflower? Sunflower grew from a little kid into a full sized young adult. It's weird. The same thing happened to my kid. Just the other day he was this little munchkin and now he's full sized, lives two states away and has a live in girlfriend and a dog named blue.

@@DrRussPhd Oh we make mistakes! 🤪 That's why, at the end of each song, we look at Dad to see if we recorded a good one. We spend an hour or two when we record to get a few good ones. It gets pretty funny in the studio when you are hot, tired, and hungry! We post clips on Instagram (@thehawkbirds) of our recordings. Sometimes we can't stop laughing, sometimes we are mad! You never know what kind of session it will be! It is all fun for us though. 👩🏻🦰🌻🧸🧑🏻

@@thehawkbirds After doing more research, it looks like you can get Instagram on a desktop but only after opening the account on a smartphone. Guess I'll have to finally get a smartphone. I am probably the only one in PA over the age of 5 that does not have one. I did try downloading the Instagram app for Windows from the Microsoft store to see if that would work, but my Norton Antivirus program detected security issues and deleted it.

Hi Michael! 😀 Mom played guitar when she was teenager for a while, and got back into it during Covid. Dad couldn't play an instrument, so he learned to play drums during the lockdown, so he and mom could have something to do together inside. I have always been singing, so it made sense for me to pick up a bass and complete the band! 🎸🎤🎸🥁 Now we can't stop! ...and we have met so many awesome people like you along the way!
