Yes, handheld gaming PCs are way better than consoles because they have free online and other PC benefits
While that is true, I believe all the devices have their strengths and weaknesses. I guess it's up to everyone's individual needs 😄
@@SebastianDylagTech The Rog Ally is the best one imo, that's why I'm getting it as my main system, it has Windows 11, VRR, good performance, and that 1080p 120hz screen
They're better ofc, but they also cost more.
It also depends on if you're deadset on playing at certain resolutions. You're not going to get AAAs running at 1080 or higher the same way you would on a console.
For a few hundred extra, I'd recommend either a 3060 or a 4060 laptop to truly play whatever you want at 1080 max settings,( even 1440p) and easy to run games at 4k.
@@SplendidNinja I don't mind playing at 1080p/720p on a 7" handheld display, as long as I can take my whole PC with me and hold it in my hands
But the thing is, how would we know if online gaming on PC will be free in the future? I heard that playstation are slowly trying to bring pc gamers to playstation or to get a PS5. I say that to say this, What if Playstation require PC gamers not only to make a PSN account to play PS games but also pay for a PS Plus subscription to play their games online?
Lastly, what if XBOX buys out steam and require PC gamers to make a XBOX LIVE to play online? I hope this doesn't happen in the future because I just started playing PC full time for a year now. Please tell me you guys your thoughts.

I usually use a powerbank and then i get 4 hours of battery life in 15w.

hihi, how can rog ally play ps2, ps3 games? sorry i am not too good with these things...
Loving my 64/4 Ayaneo Kun. I can play virtually any game while reaping the portability benefits of a Switch.
I can get about 7 hours emulating PS2 games on full charge… or I dock and connect to a 12GB 4070 via breakaway box.
Never used the Ayaneo Kun but it seems amazing ! These devices are definitely the future of gaming ! What's Your favorite game on it so far ?

I'm still curious to see what the next switch is capable of, but only because I already built up a pretty decent little game library for it over the last 6 years.
But if it's not offering anything That much more powerful than any of these current handheld PCs, I'm just going to stick with them.
For now the ally is basically my handheld game pass machine but it's pretty awesome to have that
The battery life thing for me is not that much of a deal breaker. Even though I pretty much exclusively played my switch portably, I almost always have it plugged in. I'm usually just chilling on the couch or in bed or something
Basically any opportunity I had to plug that thing in I would take it. So I'm not treating this any different
That's not to say that these things shouldn't have a better battery life. Although it does at least look like this new refresh for the ROG Ally indeed has a better battery

I am torn between the Rog ally and legion go
I think You have to think about what is more valuable to You.
If You want a bigger screen - Legion Go
If You want better portability, much better speakers and screen with VRR - Asus ROG Ally

They should perform about the same but :
Asus ROG Ally is better to travel with as it's smaller, and the speakers are amazing
Legion Go : I would say battery improvement over the Ally and also bigger screen

The steam deck oled is not noisy
The rog ally is sort of noisy but not as noisy as the steam deck lcd
the legion go is about as noisy as the ally
@emodam8550 Depends on what wattage your playing on . The Ally isn't that loud at max fan but you can definitely tell it's on if that makes any sense . The speakers on the Ally are top knotch actually amazing in my experience.
How many times are you gonna make the same video over and over again? It's his 3rd Asus ROG Ally (x) vid about what the console is, what it can do and his review. Try something new my friend.
