I was soooo happy as you heard that it was Zelda but I should have it dumped next week and checked out so fingers crossed it has something extra special in the code 😊 it was odd how 1 cart pin had rusted off from wario...wish there was a cleaner way of repairing the trace

@@kevinwoolford123 doubt it, (it will not write over any official carts.) It writes over any type of flash memory (example any ALL cheap Chinese reproduction carts,) Definitely dump the ROM and save with it though, then put them on a cheap repro cart with it
@JWG.LLC_The_Artist the idea is to borrow the open source cart reader next week and dump it and compare. After that if any differences are found it can be out for preservation sake. I can't wait to play it all 😎 will update as I look through it all with my friend and hopefully it's got some unused content 🙏
I would encourage that you leave the Dev kit of Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening be, because as it is, it is very rare and you already know that it's officially by Nintendo. You could lose everything if you take the game off, that's how delicate they really are.
It's not being played at this moment and will be dumped next week on a high quality cart dumper built by my friend Simon Lock. It needs to be preserved just incase of any differences from the retail software. I'd hate for it to die and nobody gets to experience what was on it (if it's different) so will update next video on the progress and what we find 🙏
I guess it's like owning a one of a kind thing and keeping it just for me or preserving it for everyone's future. It does carry a risk ofc but I pray it all goes well so we can all enjoy it 😊

Flashboy. It's Chinese but it's what I use. Has save/ROM dump/write for gb gbc GBA and Gameboy camera rite around 50usd

Dump, make a patch if different, there are various builds of this game available from the leak, it may be a duplicate
