The older I get the more I can't blame people for resorting to this. I won't support it, but I can't blame them. I say this as someone who got held up before.
I mean, the only people that would think they would get away with this is this group. Like, given they ddin't know about the hidden cameras meant the main robber was busted from the start, it was just a matter of time till cops located him.
@@Blazo_Djurovicbut it didn't need to be a matter of time. They did a bunch of weird stuff all over the place. If Kelly had been honest about her contact with Steve the day prior to the heist, she wouldn't have been on the radar as hard. If they didn't spend money in the dumbest ways, they wouldn't have been on the radar. If they told Steve that the total cash was $5 mil, so his share was $1.6 mil, and gave that to him, he wouldn't have been the "liability". Also, obviously David should've popped a mask and overalls on, lol. It was going to be obvious it was him anyway, but fuck it, might as well reduce what evidence you can.
I saw a video once about two guys who learned about how invisible inks were made using lemon juice. So, they come to the conclusion that if they rubbed lemon juice on their faces, the cameras wouldn't be able to see him. So they robbed a bank without any disguises, just lemon juice on their faces. The dudes in this video almost look like geniuses compared to that duo!

Most of the banks have insurance and Will recover the money. In my city here in Brazil for sometime there was a bank heist gang that uses auto rifles and dinamite to cash out the ATMs. They did that for almost two years and vanish with the money. After some time the cops even stopped to go to the heists cause the banks would recover the money with insurance and literally days later everything was rebuild. The heists stopped when the banks removed the alone ATMs in the city and started to use paint bombs in the sealed atms to destroy stolen cash, but the gang was never caught.
It’s insane how stupid Steve and his co-conspirators were, and even with that the FBI still didn’t get a warrant to wiretap them until Steve’s wife made another insanely stupid mistake
New Legal Idea: All Heists are Legal. Stealing from institutions of wealth and individuals with more than XX% reported wealth than you is legal. The stealee may pursue legal recourse to have you return the exact value taken if they know and can prove who did it. No other punitive action may be taken. Violence remains illegal and property damage caused outside the necessary course to take the wealth is fineable for straight repair costs only. _If you demand the ability to retain a dragon's hoard, we reserve the right to slay at our own risk._
I agree this specific heist was victimless, but bank heists in general are not. As an employee of the bank, being robbed could be an incredibly traumatic experience. So, definitely not victimless, but still, in my opinion, worth it. Especially if you robin hood your spoils
I mean, the fact that you used the word "heist" in the first sentence and "robbed" in the second kinda highlights the difference between a heist and a robbery, which this wasn't.
I would’ve snitched on myself once it was three months later and I’m broke. Tell them I was forced to do it and then they tried to have me killed. I ran away with a small amount and just risk that story to the FBI. Turn in Kelly and the idiot in the mansion chill on 500k invest wisely live below my means, work a job I like and retire early in a small country with beautiful women.

Guy had a job AND a home at age 27? Idk what he was complaining about, that's more than I and most of my peers had at that age. Half of them still don't.
Anyone else see the exact stupid of these people as with "our" rich and wealthy? Constantly trying to do some shitty thing instead of just paying people what they owe.... holy shit...
I was just thinking that, it's the exact same short-sightedness and constant profit-maxxing that our ruling class does CONSTANTLY. "Why should I pay the guy who works for me enough to not betray me, when I can just buy more property right now and worry about it later?" And then later: "Ugh that guy I never paid seems pissed off, but I still don't wanna give him even a tiny bit of my money every month, so I'll just pay a third party contractor to shut him up!" In other words, not very different from union busting.
even if it was actually the mafia bro is dumb as hell one there is no way he would ever see a share. Best case senario he gets stiffed worse case they give him the classic goodfellas ending killing him when he got to Mexico so he can't testify regarding their involvement.

hi
Unpopular opinion, I always side with the robber in these stories, it's only illegal if a poor man does it, it's a bailout when a rich banker does it
❤
The nail was hit on the head

Obama and Biden robbed us all to bail the actual thieves out.
Especially because it wasn’t even an armed robbery. Bro just repossessed the funds.
Crime reaction? Feels like its been years.
Ha ha. Same thought
To be fair he is constantly reacting to crimes, they're just war crimes now
Its honestly impressive how they managed to assemble a squad of the dumbest people to do this heist
And still almost got away with it
Guess my invitation was lost in the mail

some one give Martin Scorsese a bag to tell this story in wolf of wall street style.

Masterminds (2015) covered this and it seemed so ridiculous. But it's all pretty accurate 😂

Host of that video is calling Mexico a 3rd world country??? I had no idea 3rd world countries had a Rainforest Cafe.
Yeah a lot of wealthy Americans retire in Mexico lol idk why he kept calling it 3rd world like it’s a terrible place to be
Not to mention the irony that the criminals are fleeing TO Mexico, compared to the rhetoric people have currently
I've never seen neither a 3rd nor 1st world country with a Rainforest Cafe in it.
BRUNOS EVERYWHERE RISE UP 🗣️‼️‼️‼️‼️🔥🔥🔥🔥
This needs to be a film
Masterminds exists
The movie changed the entire hitman plot in flavor of a worse one and I’m convinced it was because they didn’t have time to do the real story.
Is this that one Zach Galifianakis movie????
28:50 just call yourself a bounty hunter
so what did the wife do, i didn’t catch that part. or is the video just making fun of her for not satisfying her husband
