I think you are the thick one, as a Russian speaker, Russians use the phrase of "we want peace"....But their understanding of "peace" is destruction of Ukraine. Also the word peace in Russian also means world - мир....And one of their slogans for this war is Русский мир...Which is to confuse on purpose and in a way a cruel joke... Because we all know they don't want any peace, they are here to expand their Russian world... Conquer more land...

Sabalenka meant 'no one in THEIR RIGHT minds' wants the war, those who want war are obviously not sensible. This kostyuk really needs an education, and a Tiktok edu one.
This girl kind of said there should be no issue with any Russian/Belarussian speaking out against Russia: again, this girl needs a brain because they and their families can be punished.
This kostyuk wants her country to win the war, that means the killing of more innocent people on both sides, when Sabalenka says she doesn't want the war, she is saying the war should stop Now, no more lives lost. This kostyuk would happy if all innocent Russians died, as she said she is happy for Kasatkina, but she didn't say how she would feel if Daria died suddenly. And respect IS connected to emotions: everything we do and react to comes from emotions. By the way, "kindness and love" would make a person give respect no matter what. I am not about politics, I am going with what this girl and others say and what tennis interviewers are asking. Of course politics are in everyday life, but they NEED to be kept to a minimum in tennis and sports.

They do not care about people well being. Poland for example which was attack by German first and a little later by Russia during llWW was victimized by both aggressors. They rise against both , fight on alliance side , their army was used by many countries to be freed from German occupation. After all of this ,even as the “winners “of this war they was rubbed by Russian 1/3of their territory with blessing from alliance side .No reparations, nothing.Whole country completely destroyed, left by the west under wing of supervision of aggressor who join Germany in the begin of this war to attack the Poland. As far as Russia retaliating against athletes speaking out, yes that's a risk, but Ukrainians are being premeditatedly killed in a war of choice by Russia, what's more important, staying silent when you have a platform or condemning an illegal and immoral war to bring attention to the absolute madness of it all. @@frogkiller8754 You really do not have a firm grasp on facts. As to the "slaughter" of Ukrainians in Donbass by Ukrainians you may need to rephrase that, it was indeed a very bad period that was stoked by Russia to create the propaganda you have swallowed whole. The same is happening in Moldova now so presumably you think that country should also be invaded? As to Iraq please don't assume I wasn't against that war, it was a huge mistake and many people needlessly died. However to come to the conclusion that the Ukrainians need to be invaded and die in the same numbers because of a mistake in Iraq is really warped reasoning. Also you have completely overlooked the imperialist reasons for invasion and annexation, perhaps in your confusion you think the Americans have done the same therefore that is ok too. You seem to be both for war and against it at the same time. I am not happy at all with the invasions of Iraq but I would not wish the same on any other nation.
